Charming vacation home for boaters, fishermen, and hunters.

This charming two bedroom one bath home is located in the heart of historic Grand Rivers, KY. Stay here and you will be in the center of all the lakes area has to offer. This vacation home is within walking distance from both Kentucky and Barkley lakes. These lakes are famous for their bountiful fishing as well as recreation. There are public/free launch ramps available for you to enjoy time on the beautiful lakes. Bring your own boat or rent one at many of the near by marinas.

If you are a land lover come and enjoy nature at its finest at the beautiful Land Between the Lakes Recreation area (LBL). LBL is the perfect place to get your fix of hiking, biking, nature viewing or just enjoying a leisurely drive through this picturesque country side.

And don't forget dinning out. When staying here you will be next door to the famous Patti's 1880's Restaurant and Settlement. Enjoy a delicious meal and walk off dessert at one of the many shops located in the settlement.

Stay here and you wont want to leave.

This house has all the luxuries of home. It comes with a full size washer and dryer, and the kitchen features a full size electric stove, microwave and refrigerator. The cabinets are stocked with pots, pans, dinner wear, utensils and all the essentials to prepare a meal. The dining room has seating for six as well as a breakfast nook for smaller gatherings. The living room has a 55 inch flatscreen smart TV, wi-fi, comfortable couch, arm chair and side chair.

There is a queen bed in one bedroom and a full size bed in the other, both with new mattresses and spacious closets and dressers. The living room and dining room are beautifully decorated with a combination of traditional and modern pieces that give it a cozy and inviting feel with new carpet throughout.

Enjoy the outdoors and some privacy while sitting on the back patio. A patio table, four chairs, and sunbrella are included or choose to sit on the front porch swing and say hello to passers by. This property also features a covered carport, paved driveway and a large yard.

Family holiday weekend

We had a great stay at this property. Everything was clean and well prepared for our stay. The hosts were easy to communicate with. We went back and forth to Green Turtle Bay where we have family, and it was an easy golf cart ride. The yard and back deck are lovely.

Peaceful and adorable

We loved staying here. It was clean, close to restaurants and the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the birds and watching the wildlife. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with. Check in was a piece of cake. We enjoyed our stay with them and would stay again!

We've stayed at this Jewel of a property for 2 years. I found it last year and we decided that every year when we're at the Grand Rivers Festival during Labor Day that we would stay there. It is absolutely gorgeous and the owners are so good about helping if you call them. I highly recommend this property.

Very nice people to work with. House was very clean and had everything you would need. Property was close to a number of things to do yet at the same time it where the house was located it was so peaceful. On the back deck you could enjoying watching the deer, rabbits, squirrels and birds. Would highly recommend this property>

Sweet Old fashioned White Cottage with serene park like experience

We enjoyed eating dinner out on the back deck with the local wildlife. The back yard is like a state park; beautifully kept with wild animals constantly in site throughout the mornings and evenings. The covered front porch also has wicker chairs and swing that are delightful with a good book or cup of tea/coffee.

When I book house it had listed that it had a hot tub. When I contacted owner they said the did and it was a mistake on listing. The layout of kitchen is bad can not open dryer door very much because frig is in the way. The frig sounds like it is about to die. The microwave is straight out of the 70s. The King bed only had 3 slates under it and it kill our backs. Went to take a hot bath and there was not enough hot water to fill tub. The house is quite and it is within walking distance to Patty's. Just a little disappointed in the house in general. Text owners they said they were sorry and that's all I hear from them. They did change listing to where a hot tub is not listed.

Clean house, situated within walking distance of the "main drag" in Grand Rivers. Hosts followed up in advance to make certain we were well and had everything we needed. House was as clean as one could hope hope!

Couple Getaway

This little two bedroom home was perfect for our getaway. Very clean, super well stocked and supplied, comfortable beds, quiet, neighborhood, and in walking distance to pretty much everything. We enjoyed watching the deer in the backyard every evening and heard the coyotes, but didn’t see them. Would highly recommend.

Hunting trip

Great location and great house! Beautiful little village. Love the wild life in the yard. Barry and Jennifer are great hosts with awesome communication. Definitely will stay again if a return trip is planned.

Very nice house in a great location!

We liked it so much that we extended our stay for another night! This is a very nice older home within walking distance of the main thoroughfare of Grand Rivers, which is where all the fun stuff happens every day. For anglers like us, you are within a few minutes of both Barkley and Kentucky Lake ramps depending on which direction you go. A very heavy duty cord was already in place for charging batteries. Unfortunately, the car port was too low for my 10’ Power Poles even with them partially deployed, so I had to park the boat in the yard, which I was given permission to do so ahead of time without my asking. Barry and Jennifer were super easy to communicate with and called to check on us after a couple of days as well. We will definitely be looking to stay here again next time we are down here!
