This welcoming apartment features 1 queen bed, full kitchen with freezer & fridge, a shower, toilet and a hair dryer for your convenience. Toiletries, soaps and Linens provided. With fiber optic WiFi, shared weight lifting dumbbells, and a washer/dryer machine available on the backyard porch/lanai, guests can enjoy a fabulous short or long term stay in this cozy space. About 45 minutes from Hilo, 2.5 hours from Kailua Kona, 1 hour to Volcano National Park. Explore the idyllic and rustic beauty of the Puna Coastline. Take a dip in the Geothermal Hot Ponds at Poho'iki / Issac Hale Park. Explore the 2018 eruption with a Fissure 8 Tour in Leilani Estates. Attend numerous farmer's markets throughout the week. Sunday Funday on the Neighborhood Lawn often with vendors, drumming and fire spinning. The property itself borders hundreds of acres of state land, all wild, native Ohia Lehu'a Forest, the first tree to sprout after a lava flow covers the earth and an epiphyte, like an orchid! We look forward to hosting you at our place near one of the most volcanically active places on earth!
