"I only stayed here for one night and traveled solo. Check-in: Staff was very friendly and gave good restaurant recommendations. Room: The room was very spacious. Had a lovely balcony with view of the docks. It was a bit warm inside the room. I realized that there was no AC, only a heater. But I used the tower fan they had in the closet and it cooled the room rather quickly. Overall, I would come here again. Amenities: They have 2 jacuzzis and there’s an ice machine available on each floor. Front desk sells sodas and snacks, otherwise there’s a 7-Eleven around the corner, less than a 7 min walk. I Breakfast: They provide a menu for you to fill out and hang on your door the night before, They offered fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled egg, and pastries (I got mini croissants). They also offer coffee, tea, and juice. And you choose the time you’d like to receive your meal. Overall this a nice hotel for the value and Cannery Row offerings are just a short walk away. Consider staying here for your next trip to Monterey. "

"Our trip felt even more special thanks to our stay at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa. The property is beautiful and made the overall experience shine. Although we had some difficulty figuring out the air conditioning and ended up staying up late trying to fix it (even watching YouTube for help!), we were still very satisfied with our one-night stay. We drove a Tesla and had to park a bit farther away to find charging, but the area felt safe and easy to walk around, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay."

"Room was small, but clean and cozy. I love the Spanish inspired details. There is ample parking space, pool, and a patch of grass to let your dog do its business. The inhouse restaurant was very lovely! It was very cozy, especially at night. They have a fireplace and some good music."
