Initially difficult to find, driving in was a very tight squeeze with a mid-sized SUV, but once we were in, we found the office and gate no problem, and the staff were very helpful. I believe the owner's name is Guila - she is extremely accommodating, hard-working, and prepares a full breakfast with eggs, fruit, pasties, etc for all of the guests every morning. “This property is centrally located in Palermo old town, walking distance to most of sites. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the building is securely managed. What most impressive is manager who is accommodating and spends a lot of time in the property, answering questions and giving suggestions. We originally booked a room without window due to overlooking the descriptions of the room, and we didn’t feel well after the first night of staying. The manager tried his best rearranging room……

“The appartment itself was ok: renovated building, lots of space, clean, several eating options closeby... There was actually an elevator contrary to what was listed on Expedia, a nice surprise. My only minor gripes were that the mattress was too soft for my taste and the TV quite small. However, I had two more important concerns which negatively impacted my stay experience. “the attractions are at walkable distance from the suite. A bit noisy at night because there is a bar next to it. They provide earplugs but we were able to sleep without the earplugs. the room was clean. we stayed here for 3 nights. There was no hot water in the second night (likely the boiler was emptied)”

“Boutique hotel located directly on Via Maqueda, one of Palermo’s main pedestrian streets, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The property is small, charming, and well situated for sightseeing. While there is no street parking available, the hotel offers access to a parking garage next door for approximately €25 per night. If you are driving within the city center, be aware that a daily traffic permit may also be required. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with an excellent location.”

“We arrived at 930 pm down a very narrow city road and saw an imposing old door as our arrival point. We sent a text to the hotel to say we were outside and Francisco joined momentarily. Once we got into the building - a renovated palace and shown to our room any fears we may have had were quickly dismissed. The room was spacious and the bathroom and shower were magnificent Francisco and Giorgio were great hosts”
