“This hotel is well located close to the bridge between the old and new towns. It offers a great breakfast and spacious rooms. Ours had a view of the Mare piccolo. The very friendly staff helped us with car parking and were very attentive to our needs. We chose Taranto as a base to visit other towns but didn't venture away because we loved spending time here. Restaurants are plentiful and the main shopping strip is a five minute walk away. The museum and the Castle are equally close.”

“I booked for 28 days for work. The location is phenomenal, right in the middle of the city center. Alessio and Claudia were so kind and accommodating. Claudia prepared my breakfast fresh every morning with eggs, fruit , croissant, coffee, and water. Alessio, provided suggestions for food and sites to visit and took care of any issue very quickly. Alessio and Claudia made my stay in Taranto much more memorable and enjoyable. I thank them for everything they did. ”

“To be fair, I am reviewing the Akropolis Hotel because that’s where I stayed. When I got to San Andrea Degli Armeni, there was no one there, but a sign there had a phone number to call. The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. Apparently they are sister hotels and my reservation was switched but because I booked on hotels.com they staff couldn’t reach me. No big deal, as it was close by. Once I arrived, everything was great. There were a couple minor issues……
