The rooms and facilities at Hotel Maya were perfectly fine and met our needs. However, the service at the front desk was disappointing. While not every staff member was an issue, the gentleman who helped with our bags and the person who checked us out were both fantastic and very friendly, most of the front desk staff felt indifferent or even unfriendly. It often felt like we were unwanted guests rather than welcomed ones. It’s a shame because the rest of the experience was good, but the front desk's attitude definitely cast a shadow on the stay.

The property is obviously a little older but well maintained. The service was great everywhere except the pool area, that was a little slow but not horrible. Rooms were comfortable enough for a few nights

Nice garden, covenient location. Our first room had plumber problems with wc. The personal changed us to a second room that also has problems and finally, after two changes we were able to have a proper wc. Be careful with water falling fro air conditioning, our passports were wet as our lugagge was in the floor.
