“This location is perfect! We enjoyed fishing at the boathouse, kayaking on the lake, and playing board games. The rain did not keep us down! We enjoyed every minute of this trip and we will be booking in the future. Thank you for such an amazing rental!”

“This is a great place for two to getaway and relax. It rained for most of our stay, but we made the most of it hanging out on the front porch under the trees and watching movies late into the night. It is very quiet and has a secluded feel even though there are other cabins nearby. We'll be back.”

“Each year my rather large family gathers around Christmas. Being that we are all from 3 different regions of Texas, finding a central location that will house us all comfortably with plenty a amenities has been difficult to find, until now. We had plenty of room, the kids enjoyed play outside and visiting the pond and hiking. We are hoping to book again soon for next year.”

“Jan was a perfect host! She made sure all of our needs were met and even brought us Strawberry Cheesecake dessert! It was storming very badly the day we were to leave and Jan sent us a text to extend our stay if needed because of the weather. That was so nice because i was not sure we were going to make the 11am check out time with tornados in the area.”

“Fully stocked almost to the point of being too stocked. Lots of themed decorations and a variety of kitchen gear and toddler dishes. Had a great time. Restroom is a jack and Jill so no access from the main living area, which is awkward when both rooms hold sleeping folks.”

“I booked this property for a birthday weekend getaway for my sister and myself. We wanted a quiet place with a porch and a great view to spend the weekend reading. This was definitely all that! It was far enough out to make us feel surrounded by nature, but close enough to get to Tyler to shop and eat. The place had all the little extras to make our stay great. The only difficulties we noticed (and it wasn’t that much of one) was the very steep ladder to get to the loft where the bed is. Also……

“Nice property with a lot of amenities, although I didn't use most. My stay was brief, I needed a place to stay overnight after going to a concert. One note is that maps will take you to the owners drive, the actual drive way for the camp site is a little further down the road. I would stay again.”
