Relaxing trip to palm springs

We had a great time at Boo Boo’s hideaway! Location was great and easy to get to downtown Palm Springs & the Aerial tram. House was comfortable and pool was great!

Fun family Thanksgiving week!

We had a great stay at Boo Boo's hideaway. The property manager was fantastic, the house was clean and very well appointed, the yard is great for outdoor fun, and the location can't be beat! Great for family getaways or for a small group get together.

Great pool, nice clean house

Great Stay!

The house and yard /pool were everything we had hoped. Kitchen had all the dishes, utensils and cookware we needed. Fruit on the trees, a bonus! Very relaxing, quiet and private. Very close and convenient to stores and downtown. Highly recommend.

Great Property

The house was perfect for what we needed. The house had a great layout and everything felt clean and accommodating. My husband said the grill was the cleanest he's ever seen at a rental property. Pool was perfect -- perfectly sunny and perfectly shaded by the umbrellas. Our family enjoyed our stay very much.

Palm Springs Trousdale- FAB!!!!

We actually stayed at Palm Springs Trousdale. The property was amazing, beautiful, and so relaxing!!! We’ll stay here many times in the future!!! Love love loved it! Acme (Gene) is so awesome to deal with. Perfection personified!

ACME is superb

The house was managed by ACME and they did a phantastic job attending to our needs. We had some questions and problems iwth th ehouse and pool and ACME responded and handeled IMMEDIATELY! 5 star+ *****

Great backyard and pool/hot tub

The house was as advertised and we enjoyed it but the real star of the show is the backyard and pool/hot tub. Wow! My kids especially enjoyed it.

wonderful place

We, as two couples, very much enjoyed our stay at BooBoo's. The management was excellent. When we had any concerns or questions, they were taken care of immediately. There was a welcome kit including a whole package of ground coffee and small toiletries, waiting for us. Maintenance (such as for the pool or the solar panels and garbage collection) was done without interference to us. The home was very clean and included everything we needed. The pool was wonderful. We spent a lot of time in it and on the large, shaded deck. We did find the beds a little too soft for us but other than that, we were very pleased. It is in a lovely, safe neighborhood. We did a lot of walking, even for groceries at Ralph's (but that may be too far for some). El Mirasol, just around the corner, was our favorite restaurant. Great food, terrific service. The only suggestions would be: -to somewhow be able to turn off the bright light by the barbque -to put a little sign up on the washing machine to remind guests to leave the door and the try open after use (to avoid moldy smell) We hope to return soon!

Lovely Stay

A Great Stay at Boo Boo’s, Just a Few FYI’s

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very relaxing and pleasant family gathering at Boo Boo’s Hideaway. First, what we liked: the layout was great for socializing. Sitting on the patio watching the birds and humming birds flitting around the wire was so relaxing! All 5 of us worked from home during our week there, and found it comfortable to do so. Only a couple of small slowdowns with the internet, but nothing we couldn’t work around. The under cover patio was very comfortable with the ceiling fans, and cushioned chairs, and pool with the sundeck and floats was so much fun! The barbecue was awesome, and we loved that it was piped with natural gas, so no worries about a dry tank. The front fire pit was very fun, beautiful view of the sky. Ok, just a few things you should be aware of. The 2nd master bedroom behind the kitchen wasn’t getting any AC at all, and it was over 100 degrees outside. Just ACME was so wonderful about it, sent an HVAC guy to check it out. He couldn’t fix it, so ACME had them leave a portable AC unit in that room. It did the trick, but was very loud, and made WFH in that room difficult. We put up with it, but sadly, that will make us not want to return. The 3rd bedroom is listed as a queen size, but seemed more like a full size. And that bed was also a platform on the floor, not very suited for anyone with mobility issues (I don’t think the listing mentions this) but our young adult daughter had no trouble with it, and the mattress was comfortable. The kitchen had most everything you’ll need, but just barely. Just 6 of each dish and utensil, and no storage containers for leftovers. The grass in the yard was artificial turf, which wouldn’t be too bad except that the area by the loungers smelled like a dog potty, yuck. It probably needs to be hosed off after pets stay there. We moved the loungers away from that area. The best view of the backyard is opposite the house looking at the mountain. We moved the loungers

Fabulous Find

Boo Boo’s did not disappoint. Everything was just as pictured and described. The entire place is clean, all amenities in working order, nice quiet neighborhood, backyard privacy, comfortable seating everywhere, and on and on...! Plenty of towels for bathing and swimming. We had no problems, so we didn’t need to contact property management. We enjoyed short walks for lattes (Koffi), ice cream (Kreem—excellent place), and dining. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

Just a few snafus of two light bulbs that were out and pooling of the fridge. The A/C was weak in the bedroom nearest the kitchen. ACME wanted to send maintenance over but we were okay. I was more impressed with the customer experience details of ACME in making sure check in was contactless and using text messaging to send us messages. My one suggestion would be to let us know who, by name we were texting with to make things more personable. We would definitely recommend Boo Boo's Hideaway to other families. Thanks ACME.

Relaxing Getaway at BooBoo's Hideaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: BooBoo's Hideaway was perfect for our family's needs. It came with everything we needed to make meals at the house, including a great natural gas BBQ, and we took advantage of this during the current health crisis. The backyard and pool with the tanning shelf and chairs was perfect to stay cool during the hot 100+ degree heat, although it could benefit from a couple of extra umbrella's. We enjoyed our coffee in the shady front of the house in the mornings with gorgeous mountain views and during the high heat of the day, we just played games inside in the A/C until the sun shifted over the house. Acme provided a great book with directions for house rules, wifi, a/c unit etc., and were in constant contact making sure we did not need anything. Perfect for families.

I love the set up with a tanning shelf with built in umbrellas between the pool and spa, and so did our lab! My only suggestion is access to a streaming service since there is just basic cable. The staff was very friendly and helpful during the reservation process and the stay!
