「Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult.」

「As a returning guest I was again not disappointed by this fabulous set up on the river. Everything we needed, great space to spend with the whole family, from the 1 yo to the 60 yo. The high chair and kids toys, games, colouring and cutlery make such a difference. The pizza oven a hit. Glorious views from the kitchen and balcony. A great base for us visiting Monarto and paddle steamer cruise. Will definitely come again.」

「I can only say that our eight night stay was wonderful. The apartment Sunset was beautifully appointed and had everything that we needed. We were welcomed with fresh eggs and some chocolates. We were in easy driving distance of some lovely towns and even made it to the Morphettville races. Our last day was simply spent in the apartment and the backyard. Beautiful and relaxing. Altogether a gem!」

「It was a great house for a group of people loved the area. some maintenance is needed - Toilet leaking on floor cistern broken ,running out of water while in shower ,9 people unable to use toilet in the morning the manager addressed this quickly but water pressure took a long time to come through ,a better pump is needed, shower fan not working ,a little garden maintenance .As a food safety supervisor I do not recommend leaving opened food in fridge and pantry ,you don't know how long it has...

「This is a beautifully styled property that oozes tranquillity and relaxation. The bed was so comfortable, the fires cosy and the bath luxurious. We thoroughly enjoyed our little getaway. All of the extra touches (Jurlique bathroom products, delicious breakfast food etc) really made it special.」

「Really beautiful property in Mt Barker, 10 mins drive to Hahndorf. It is super clean and amenities are very complete. Great if you want to cook and dine at home instead of going out. Rooms are very quiet even though it is next to the main road. Beds are king size and very comfortable. You also get Netflix if you have nothing else to do. There are great personal touches from the owners including a bottle of local wine and Tim Tams. The only negative is the lack of lightings to the property...

「Really peaceful location. Walking distance to the Charleston hotel which serves great pub meals. Weather turned cold as we arrived and our hosts were amazing and provided us with extra blankets and firewood. Great location and would stay here again.」
