I paid for a room and when I arrived there The reception was locked, as they close from 10 till 2pm and it was 11.30am.
I wasn't able To pick up a key, for later as i wasn't going to be back till 9 PM and they shut at 8 PM. So the hours werent working for me so left and found another motel that had hours 7.30am to 9pm , no locked reception, people around all day like a normal motel...huntington motor lodge, BEYOND obliging.
Maybe aspree is used for emergency homeless housing, rather than customers who pay to stay
i had to ring an emergency number from a note on the locked door to ask if i could get a key as i had already paid and wouldnt be around at 2pm as i had a family function (hence being there) and was told no.
I hope they let someone stay in my room for free that night seeing i had paid for it. Because they were so unhelpful i was out of pocket $150. Not the best 1st impression of palmerston nth i had hoped for.
