Amenities and Communication Challenges
Husband had heart repair at Stanford so property was within 15 minutes which was great. Check-in was an issue- property management have you sign additional agreements and “boarding pass” via a site outside VBRO communication. We got to property at 4 and it said Checkin would be sent but was not. Called left and sent message via VBRO. Kept trying different ways to communicate but no response after almost 45min. Called VBRO and they got ahold of property management and said they got my calls/messages but don’t know why didn’t respond. Property manager reset it and we could get in. Once in home- it was 80 degrees, so tried to turn on air-conditioner. Again reached out to property manager, no response- walked property and realized it did not have air conditioning. Air conditioning and hot tub were listed as amenities but had neither. We specifically booked this one for the air due to my husbands health. We had scattered ants in home and main outlet in bathroom did not work. Again notified property manager. Responded next day and shipped 3 fans which was accommodating. They wanted pictures of air temperature and ants but we were in the hospital by then.When we returned at night after a stressful day in hospital- we found someone had been in property but not clear why as no notice. The place met our needs but issues encountered along with the stress of husband’s health made this stay not enjoyable- we would not return or use this property management co again.
