I stayed at Hotel Leyre during San Fermin, not for the first time. It is always my first choice due to proximity to the Plaza de Toros and the standard of accommodation. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Buffet breakfast is wonderful - something for everyone! Highly recommended.

The rooms were great. Small, but perfect for 2 people. The service was out of this world. People are really nice. About a 20 min walk from Plaza Mayor. But 5 min from the train station. Very locally centralized.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Leyre in Pamplona during the San Fermín Festival, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Being right in the heart of the action, I could easily walk to the bullring, watch the running of the bulls, and immerse myself in the vibrant street celebrations. The rooms were beautifully appointed, blending classic charm with modern amenities. I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor, which gave a nod to the hotel's rich history while providing all the comforts of a luxury stay. My room was impeccably clean and offered a stunning view of the bustling streets below, allowing me to feel a part of the festival even when relaxing in my room. The service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests had an unforgettable experience. I was very disappointed with the hotel staff as son as we walked in. Very unfriendly and rude, never even look at me when speaking to me. Especially the front office middle age lady with dark brown short curly hair. I was asking for help with transportation to another town and she was very short then told me to go to the bus stop and ask. I asked for a bottle water and they told me to go get it at the store across the street. The housekeeping staff smoked in the hall way and stairways so the whole hotel smells horrible. I fell as if they didn’t want to deal with us Americans. Will never come back to this hotel again. I’ll take my American’s money and spent it some where else.
