We loved our stay at The Pointe. The location was perfect for us, we were able to walk to several restaurants and a beautiful public beach access point within a few minutes. The property is beautiful, plenty of parking, the fitness room had several cardio and exercise machines, benches and free weights which we used daily. It was too cold to use the pool, it was supposed to be heated but the attendant said due to the cold weather they were unable to get the pumps to work. The hot tub worked great.
The unit itself (#334, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) was spotless and beautifully decorated, we loved all the balcony furniture as well! The beds were very comfortable, there's a Keurig and a regular coffee machine.
A minimal starter set was provided (1 toilet paper roll, 1 small hand soap bar+1 small facial soap bar per bathroom; for the kitchen 1 paper towel roll, 2 dishwasher tabs, 1 small dishwashing liquid+1 sponge). There were plenty of bath towels but only one kitchen towel and when we asked if we could get additional kitchen towels the response was no, we were expected to do laundry as needed. 1 hair dryer was available in the primary bathroom, given that there are 2 bathrooms a second hair dryer would have been nice, there are also no full-length mirrors so that is something to keep in mind.
Overall, we would give it 4.5 stars, we can recommend The Pointe and would return!
