Exceptional Service and a Wonderful Surprise Upgrade I had made two separate reservations—one for a suite and another for a regular room—due to an unexpected extension of my trip. To my surprise, the reception manager, a truly kind and professional lady, upgraded my standard room to a suite for the additional day. I didn’t even request anything she just made it happen! From the moment I arrived, the guest service was absolutely impeccable. Every interaction with the staff felt warm, attentive, and effortless. Santa Maria is a wonderful hotel and great staff. The only problem I had was when the AC came on at night I felt that there was a plane flying overhead. Also in my room the balcony door didn’t lock. Having said the above I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

My family and I had a beautiful stay at The Santa Maria. it definitely felt luxurious, the staff were extremely pleasant and eager to assist. It was far enough from the city where we got to enjoy some peace and quiet but also close enough to book affordable Ubers/taxis to the city. We were able to communicate in both Spanish and English with staff. The resort was huge and allowed us to walk around. We ate dinner at the restaurant on property the first night. The food was sooo good! 10/10, I recommend this property.
