"What a shame, probably was a lovely hotel once upon a time. Now it’s tired and worn and definitely not a four star hotel. Pool closed and cordoned off . We arrived late last night to find reception manned fortunately but totally uninviting and straight away alarm bells rang as to what the condition of our room would be like. The room was actually clean, but creature comforts were lacking . A wooden stool for a dressing table chair. Two plastic chairs to sit on in the room after getting out of the more hardest uncomfortable bed possible. A park bench would have been more comfortable. The breakfast to be honest was ok plenty to choose from but again definitely not 4 star standards. If I had booked here for a holiday I would have been on the next flight home or found somewhere else to stay. It’s a great shame we have seen this hotel for many years in its day and it always looks lovely but now it’s just run down and tired .and definitely not recommended."

"The apartment is very tired. Furniture is flimsy, mattress is to soft, bed squeaks, cheap pillows. The wind whistles through the door. Black mould in bathroom. Towels are old. Lifts need serviced. Apartment needs painted. The water tap makes a banging noise every time you use the bathroom. Basically it needs a full refit, this is not a 4 star apartment. The only good thing was the energy of the front reception, it’s a shame the apartment doesn’t reflect his enthusiasm. I can’t imagine using this facility again. "

"A brilliant place to stay. The receptionist George was amazing. So friendly, happy and gave us loads of brilliant advice! The place itself was large, very clean and brilliant location. For English travellers, it’s worth noting that the plugs are English, which is brilliant. There’s so many facilities and a lovely balcony to sit and enjoy the sun. No cockroaches too, which having heard horror stories from other places I was chuffed about."
