Top Paraparaumu Hotel Reviews

Naumi Studio Wellington

10/10 Excellent

"You couldn’t ask for a better location, right in the heart of Wellington on Cuba Street, with tons of restaurants, bars, clubs, museums and public transit all within easy walking distance. The hotel has a wonderfully eclectic personality, with retro, bohemian and artsy décor throughout the lobby, restaurant and guest rooms. It’s definitely not your typical cookie-cutter hotel! My room was perfect for a solo traveller, although it would be a little tight for two people with luggage. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was great, and surprisingly, the room was super quiet considering the lively location right outside. A special mention to the lounge cocktails, which were both unique and delicious – definitely worth checking out! Overall, a great little hotel with plenty of character, a fantastic location and excellent value. I’d happily stay here again!"

Museum Apartment Hotel, Independent Collection by EVT

8/10 Good

"Location was close to waterfront, Te Papa Museum, Takina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, short walk to Courtenay Place and handy to New World for drinks and snacks etc... Appreciated the sauna, gym, pool and spa. Valet parking was handy. Staff were friendly and had good advice on where to eat. The room was spacious, and addition of a small couch (rather than a metal chair with no cushion) to watch the sea views from would be nice. Bathroom was tight with shower and bath. Plenty counter space for all my makeup/toiletries. Room had a well equipped kitchenette with dishwasher. With all the dark wood finishes, some more lights inside wardrobe/cubbies or mirror glass would help with that. There was washer/dryer (that I could not figure out - that's a ME problem, not the hotel's fault). I could not hear any noise from rooms around me. All in all, I would happily stay here again."
