In this home you’ll find everything you need to spend excellent holidays.
The house is placed in the middle of “Quinta do Pizão”, is surrounded by a magnificent vineyard and has a fine view over the green fields of the farm.
This house wich dates back to the 17th century was totally rebuild and is now well equipped to spend your hollidays.

Piscine non chauffée, déçus car dans l'annonce il n'était pas précisé qu'on avait une vue direct sur les lignes de chemin de fer situé à 200m de la maison, du coup de nombreux passages de train dès 5h du matin jusqu'à minuit avec la nuisance que cela entraîne, maison très sombre, litreries datantes et usées ainsi que l'électroménager, aucun jeux de plein air, il a fallut composé avec un ballon d eau chaude de 50 litres pour les besoins journaliers de 4 personnes, pour finir juste un conseil bien lire l'annonce.

Superbe séjour au Portugal! Tres belle maison avec un bel environnement, la piscine a été apprécié vu les fortes chaleurs que nous avons eu.La maison restait fraiche ce qui etait très appréciable et 2 des 3 chambres beneficient de la climatisation. Le propriétaire est tres disponible et tres sympathique, on le remercie pour son accueil.Avec un plus pour nous, il parlait très bien Français.Je recommande vivement cette maison, rapport qualité prix parfait ! Et l'emplacement est ideal pour visiter Porto par le biais du train.Si je dois revenir je reviendrais.

Rust en ruimte landelijk maar toch dichtbij

Mooie woning op rustige locatie op loopafstand van restaurantjes/bakker en kleine maar goed gevulde dorps supermarkt. Station is ook op 10 min loopafstand, je bent zo in Porto.De woning is mooi en ruim , 2 slaapkamers met airco. De 2 persoonskamer onder de woning heeft geen airco en op de kleine badkamer is een waterlekkage waardoor er na elk douchebeurt water staat, we hebben dit probleem aan de eigenaar doorgeven. Wat ik wel even wilde vermelden is dat er in de beurt een boerderij is gevestigd waardoor je veel last hebt van vliegen. Maar we hebben genoten van ons verblijf en zeker geen spijt. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Casa con un bonito entorno

El sitio es muy bonito, ya que está rodeado de árboles y mucha vegetación. Máxima intimidad y tranquilidad. Fuimos en agosto, durante el día calor y por la noche refrescaba, lo que era perfecto para dormir, pero el agua de la piscina también se refrescaba para nuestro gusto que somos de clima mediterráneo. Encantados con el trato con el propietario, Alfonso.

Beautiful!

We had a very lovely stay! The house is very private and the swimming pool is very large en nice! The house is very cosy and nicely cold in the warm weather. The two bedrooms in the house are equipped with airco which is nice. The downstairs bedroom stays nice and cold through the thick walls. We were welcomed by Alfonso who is the woner and very helpfull with tips about the surroundings, etc. We would recommend this accommodation!

Gemütliches, landestypisches Haus

Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend empfangen und haben schöne Ausflugstipps bekommen. Das Haus ist rustikal, sauber und gemütlich. Das dritte Schlafzimmer hat einen eigenen Eingang mit eigenem Bad. Das Grundstück ist sehr gepflegt und liegt in toller Natur.

Very helpful owner

Our stay was made especially pleasant by the helpfulness and friendliness of the owner. He could not have been better. Because it was an old stone house the availability of electrical outlets for charging phones etc and for appliances was very limited. Perhaps the charm of an old house. The swimming pool was a wonderful attraction on hot days.

Stay in Cete

Cete is a great location for visiting Porto. It is a 30-40 min train journey and 10 min walk to the station. Very reasonable for food although more of a suburbs location than a tourist place - restaurants are traditional, reasonably priced but cafe come restaurants. Our host Afonso was very helpful and available. House was lovely traditional Portuguese - only complaint would be the cooking stove which was quite temperamental and caused the electric fuse switches to flick off. Also not enough electrical plug points but we accepted it was old and traditional and we liked that. Swimming Pool was lovely - cold but nice size. Scenery was lovely from house too. We would recommend this place for a good base for seeing Porto and surrounding areas and relaxing around a pool

Great location for exploring Porto with only a short train journey to the city. Lovely pool area and excellent communication with the host who was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Property would benefit from updating and it would be nice to be provided with more essentials such as bin bags, washing up liquid and tea towels. It is a self catering property. Overall though a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful and peaceful location

This is a very charming old property which has been lovingly cared for by its owner. Although in the centre of a small village in the vicinity of Porto, it has a beautiful aspect and view over farmland - maize and vines. The pool makes this a perfect family holiday venue. You can walk to a baker and a butcher and fruit shop in the town and the supermarket is not far by car. It also benefits from being within a 40 minute train ride of Porto - which is a magical and architecturally stunning city full of energy. we loved our stay.

Precioso Lugar. Mejor que en las imágenes. Propietario muy atento. La casa está bien equipada. La propiedad esta muy bien comunicada, sólo a 30 minutos en tren a Porto. 3 minutos a pie del centro de Cete. Muy recomendable.

Schöne, alte Quinta (Farmhouse) auf dem Land

Die Lage ist prächtig. Man kann in 45 Min. per Zug kostengünstig in Porto sein. Allerdings kommt man ohne (Miet-)auto nicht gut herum. Da die Restaurants in der Umgebung fast alle sehr schlicht sind, sollte man häufiger selbst kochen. Das ist allerdings durch veraltete Küchentechnik erschwert. Der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und zurückhaltend. Der Pool ist flach, aber für Kinder und zur Abkühlung gut geeignet. Für Liebhaber des Rustikalen sehr zu empfehlen! (ein Paar aus Norddeutschland)

Exceded our expectations

Our hosts, Afonso and Manuela, were wonderful, welcoming, and super helpful. The dwelling is a large house on a farm with a vineyard and lemon trees. This serene setting is a delightful 10 minute walk away from the train station for a short 30 - 40 min ride to downtown Porto. We would highly recommend this accommodation, and would love to call it home.
