“We chose this agritourismo to be our home base for 9 days from which to visit the area: from Bologna to Milan to the Adriatic Sea. Our host, Mario, is a gem. He met us upon our arrival in Montebabbio, demonstrated the features of the accommodation, and explained his family had been residents of the area for 500 years. “The apartment was clean and just what we needed. Great location and can walk to shops, restaurants and historical attractions. If traveling with a car you must park in the public garage about a 5 minute walk. Be mindful if you have a lot of luggage as their is no lift, about 22 steps.”
