Quiet well located neighborhood. Easy access to the Metro. The restaurants in the neighborhood were terrific. Our hostess responded promptly to our questions. We would gladly stay there again

April in Paris

What a charming apartment! We loved the sunny garden and the art deco style. The location is perfect for restaurants, groceries and shopping. We walked to Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, the Botabus and more. A lovely apartment in a great location.

Lovely Maris property!!!

Authentic Parisian neighborhood

One cannot ask for anything more when staying at Barbara’s property in the Marais. The place was clean and had everything one needs. It is in a very quiet location and yet near many restaurants and sights.

Quiet comfortable location, terrific host

The apartment is larger than most other vrbos I've used in Paris, very quiet at night, restive garden view. Barbara is an excellent host who communicates well before the stay and during her welcome. The apt is very well equipped, clean and the beds are comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend this location!

Wonderful respite in the Marais

Beautiful property that is quietly located in the Marais, with a secret garden and many amazing antiques to gaze at around the house. Barbara was an awesome host, who made us feel more than at home. The house has everything you need, as well as a fabulous bakery right down the street. I highly recommend this property.

Magnifique

We stayed in August for a week (4 adults) in this extraordinary georgious apartment. The terrace is a wonderful place for breakfast and to relax between sightseeing. It is such a nice neighborhood with great restaurants, shops, and metro stations in walking distance. Barbaras hospitality is heartwarming and we are looking forward to coming back.

2nd time just as good as the first

We stayed here four years ago and we have had another wonderful stay. The location is convenient for metro lines, restaurants, and just walking around. Barbara is a delightful host who prepares the apartment to a high degree, both in terms of cleanliness and facilities. PS The beds are very comfortable.

Wonderful way to start the year!

Love, this apartment! The location is amazing, so close to many restaurants and stores. Quiet location at night with super comfy beds. So happy we chose this location right after the new year. The owner was so so helpful and met us at the apartment. I highly recommend this listing and would love to come back for another stay.

Wonderful Tranquil Base in Paris

My husband, myself and another couple of friends had a wonderful stay at Barbara's place. It was spacious enough for the 4 of us and was quiet and tranquil, but still close to all the action of Paris. The apartment is decorated beautifully and has a definite Parisian feel to it. Well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend to others.

Lovely Apartment

Charming apartment with old world ambience. Secure, clean, and spacious enough for 4 adults to be comfortable. The private terrace is perfect for charcuterie and wine! Walking distance to cafes, shopping and transit. Barbara is a lovely host. We would stay here again!

Marvelous Marais

Perfect apartment for my daughter and me. Location was quiet, easy to get to The metro, very good restaurants and fun to explore. The weather was perfect, so we could use the spacious patio for relaxing or wineing and dining. Beautiful Art Deco apartment; so much charm and so comfortable. Would go back in an heartbeat!!!!

Charming, Quiet and Comfortable in Great Location!

We stayed for a week during the Olympics at this lovely apartment in a peaceful section of Le Marais and it served our needs perfectly. The patio was an added bonus and served as the perfect spot for an apéro or morning coffee. Communication with the owner was great, and we appreciated her warm welcome and orientation to the apartment and neighborhood. There were many shops and restaurants closeby, and easy and quick access to several Metro stations. For our group of 4 adults, it served our needs well and provided a much-needed respite from a chaotic Olympic Paris!

A slice of heaven in Paris

This is the second time we have stayed in this Marais apartment and it does not disappoint. The location is sublime and the apartment is roomy enough for two couples. Well equipped kitchen and the best of all..an outside terrace. Barbara is a welcoming host. Close to groceries and all the wonderful restaurants of the Marais.

Wonderful Paris Apartment

This lovely apartment is wonderful! The interior is tastefully decorated, well organized, and has supplies for cooking, doing laundry, and bath/bathing. It’s clear that visitor needs and convenience were thoughtfully considered. The building provides layers of security and the location is great for Paris sightseeing. The are numerous charming restaurants within just e few blocks. The landlord is a lovely, gracious lady who took a lot of time to show us how everything worked, and was available by phone for any questions we might have. I have stayed many places in Paris over the years (I’m 76.) and this by far is my favorite!

Great location

What a beautiful apartment with a lovely market next door. Barbara was charming and helpful upon check-in. The beds were so comfortable and bedrooms were very quiet. One of the few apartment that I would like to return to on my next visit in Paris. We also were able to meet the Mayor of Paris one day in a nearby cafe. Another highlight.

Deco dream

The apartment is a well kept Deco dreamland. Your eyes just dance around each room. The quiet rose garden veranda was a perfect quiet retreat over looking a lush courtyard. Our hostess was a wealth of knowledge. Barbara made us feel truly welcomed. We loved the neighborhood. Steve, Sheri & Katie

A Gem

This apartment was quite a gem to be found in the La Marais district of Paris. The owner Barbara met us there and explained everything about the apartment. We liked that it was very secure, quiet and very clean. Two grocery stores were right next door with one being organic. Shopping close by and plenty of cafes and restaurants close also. The beds were so comfortable! We would definitely stay there again in Paris.

A little piece of heaven

Loved, loved, loved everything about Barbara’s apartment, including Barbara! The apartment was cozy and welcoming for myself, Hubbie, brother-in-law and sister-in-law. We celebrated my 70th (what) and my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. It was perfect. We had wonderful weather, which I’m sure Barbara arranged, to sit on the fabulous terrace. Location was excellent easy walking distance to several great restaurants and shops. Barbara spent time with us when we arrived going over the workings of the apartment and some recommendations. Would go back in a heartbeat!

VRBO Le Marais Beautiful Home

The property for this listing is on the 1st floor. It is very secure and very at home.The location couldnt be more perfect as its walking distance to some of the finest parisian restaurants of Paris.The place was clean, quaint and homey and we throughly enjoyed the dining room for our after hours discussions at the end of the day.
