this hotel does not deserve the the title "Grand" the hotel is run by people who do not go out of their way to be helpful or informative , the rooms are small and tired , stained and worn carpets .The bathroom had not been cleaned properly

Correct, mais pas à la hauteur des prix pratiqués.

Le personnel est attentif et disponible. Nous avons occupé la chambre familliale 549... famillale est un peu excessif (2 lits doubles séparés par un chevet + 1 petite salle de douche). Les parties communes sont en bon état et propres mais la chambre avait des défauts significatifs : propreté approximative et malgré une renovation des peintures assez récente, l'ensemble commence à accuser le coup des années. La salle de bain est le point faible : petite, mal conçue (douche à l'italienne sans parois = bain de pied en allant ensuite au lavabo ou aux toilettes)... le plus désagréable est l'odeur d'égoûts assez forte. Produits de toilette pas à la hauteur du prix de l'établissement. le petit déjeuner est proposé à un prix raisonnable (7€/pers), il est copieux mais la quantité pourrait être réduite au profit de la qualité... notamment pour le pain). En bref : même à Paris et dans le Marais, le prix demandé n'est pas en accord avec le niveau des prestations générales.

Meh. I don't think the pictures shown on hotels.com or the hotel's website are accurate. My family and I stayed in 2 rooms in this hotel on a one-night stopover in Paris and neither room was even close to what was pictured. The rooms we had were somewhat rundown and dingy, and very small, even by Paris standards (I've stayed in multiple hotels on various trips here). Check-in took nearly 30 minutes because they insisted on having us fill out a 1/2 novel on a tablet for each person in the group. I've never had to do that at any other hotel in the entirety of Europe. Further, we had to wait behind another group doing this when we got to the hotel. Staff was mostly curt, aside from one gentleman. Beds weren't very comfy and I was very glad that I hadn't booked this hotel for our 3 days stay upon our return to Paris after traveling to other areas of Europe. The neighborhood is great though, and shops and restaurants are nearby, as is Le Marais district. All told, I wouldn't stay here again.

Lieu très bien placé

Bon qualité prix par rapport au lieu, proche bastille et marais, dans une rue assez calme. Climatisé. Le seul bémol est l inconfort des lits petits et des oreillers, dure dure pour dormir. Sinon idéal pour petits budgets.

Always a great experience

We have visited Paris four times in the past two years and have chosen to stay at this hotel each time. The location is wonderful, the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and quiet. And if travelling via Eurostar you can be in the hotel fifteen minutes after arriving at Gard du Nord. We will be back!

Well situated between Bastille and Republique - walkable to a wide area and near the Metro. Hotel a bit tired but rooms are clean and comfortable and staff are very helpful. Excellent places nearby for food and drink. basic breakfast facilities in hotel, but did not use.

地下鉄駅より歩いて５分、受付のおじさんが明るく親切、 チェックインもすぐ完了、疲れているので助かりました。 レシートに印刷されたパスワードをもらうことでWi-Fi使用できます。（無料） 最上階、５階の部屋でした。屋根裏部屋の雰囲気ですが、充分広く 暖房もよく効き快適でした。 また、バスタブ付きの部屋で喜んでいたのですが、栓がなくお湯をためることはできませんでした。 受付の方も親切、近くにレストラン、カフェもたくさんあり便利で快適なホテルでした。

Great location, comfortable hotel

Grand Hotel Amelot was in a wonderful location! The hotel was clean and comfortable, although the rooms are very small and the décor is slightly dated. The breakfast was not included but we ate there one morning for convenience, it was a really good continental breakfast with more than enough food including croissants, pain au chocolate, yogurt and beverages-a real value for 7 euros! The reception staff was friendly and extraordinarily helpful! They even loaned my daughter a charging cord for her phone, as opposed to selling her one! We will definitely look to stay there again, should we return to Paris. The location was close to excellent restaurants, stores and multiple train and bus stops. We also could walk everywhere. I highly recommend this hotel for those of you looking to visit Paris, we were very happy with our choice!

Om man åker med budget så var detta hotell bra. Rummen var små och lite omoderna men rena. Nära till Metro (när man lärt sig att hitta). Trevlig personal.

Meget støj. Gammelt hus uden lydisolering, så det var som at dele værelse med naboerne. Det lød som om alle havde afrejse midt om natten, larm og smækken døre konstant. Lille værelse, det gik fordi vi havde valgt 3-sengs værelse til 2 personer.

Nice hotel close to metro and Place de Bastille

The hotel met our expectations. The room was small, just big enough to be able to walk around the beds. There was a small bathroom with shower. We didn't have breakfast or any other meal at the hotel, so can't really say anything about that. We had an incident when we asked the reception to order a cab to the airport. The reception got us an unlicensed taxi and the driver wanted charge a hefty reservation fee. The driver got furious when we said we didn't pay that and said he already paid the reception for the reservation. He actually chased us on foot a whole block. I wouldn't mind staying at the same hotel, but I wouldn't ask the reception for any service. This incident is the only reason for the "poor" service grade.

Easy long weekend in Paris
