So this place is cheap. I needed something for the night and it served purpose. It isn't anything to rave about but the staff are friendly and the sheets were clean.. the carpet is a bit ominous but nothing a pair of shoes can't handle.. the lovely man at reception carried my bag up to room . He was very helpful

The metro station is close to the hotel, and it was easy to reach this hotel from that station although I arrived in the midnight. The staffs are very kind and they allowed me the late chack-in in midnight and kept my luggage after check-out. It was a bad point that although I stayed at 5th floor, there was no lift and it was necessary to use the spiral staircase. If a traveller has heavy laggages, it is not easy to reach the room which locates a upper floor.

Rooms are smaller than my bathroom in NYC apartment . No AC. Everything is super old that even when I plugged in my portable travel steamer for clothes it literally burnt it RIP. Staircase only! It’s narrow and if you have suitcases - good luck carrying it, also hotel cancelled my reservation as they said oh we do not work with Expedia . Do not recommend

Great place for a stay.

I had a great stay. I appreciated the room, and the ease of access to the utilities. I was sleeping with the window open usually because I would get a little hot, and they gave me a fan. The check in and check out process was very simple and ran smoothly. It is also very close to Montmarte, Pigalle, and is next to plenty of subway stations.

Convenient & Friendly Staff

The location was very convenient just few meters from the metro station. The staff was friendly and attentive when asked for information or requiring any service. The only inconvenience is that the toilet and shower rooms are shared, something that I didn’t noticed while doing the bookings; however, it was always tidy and claen.

*Cockroaches!! *UNSAFE dangerous! Neighbourhood!! *NO ELEVATOR..access to hotel is an elf door with a SPIRAL stairs..IMAGINE! * Parking is .25 miles or more AWAY from property in a very very very busy area with little to NO Instructions!!!!!!! *NO Air Conditioning!!!!!! *A shot of coffee and a tiny cup for hot chocolate from their machine for $6 Euros!!! It is for FREE in any other hotel!! * The grandfather who owns the place forbids his grandchildren from giving more than 1 ..yes ONE roll of toilet paper!!!! *Dirty anything!! * Zero Amenities or hotel room stuff NOTHING!! I have NEVER been to a disgusting place like this.. besides that it is EXPENSIVE!!

Last choice to Paris. The room was not as in te description, not clean, loudy , you can hear everyone on the hotel through walls, the worse hotel until now.

Plaisant and good stay

The hotel is in a good emplacemt,you turn rigth and you will fund you self in a street at the bottom of la Butte Monmartre,full of shop,frensh brasserie were you eat very well and not expansive. The hotel it self is on Boulvard Barbes,who doesnt have good reputation, but this part was good, not a problem at all.Is just 2 tube station from gare du nord. My room was very clean,very good bed, Quiet.shower room was in the corridor.Small and clean. Is a small bulding, then narrowed corridor and narrow stair case. Is a budget hotel then dont expect The Ritz. Over all great stay,good location,very good staff. I do not understand all those complaints ???

I cleaned Room | Unable to Resolve Issue

This was a cost effective hotel and the amenities are minimal which is okay, had no problem with. The first receptionist was very nice and kind. I checked in and got to my room. The beds were made and appeared clean but there was hair and small particles all over the sheets and pillows. I mentioned this to a different receptionist and he moved me to another room but that room also had the same issue with dirty sheets. The receptionist said they had no more rooms. I asked what am I supposed to do and he said nothing. I then asked if I needed a refund and he told me to contact Hotels.com . I grabbed my stuffed from the room and checked out, returning the key. I contacted Hotels.com about the situation and they contacted the hotel. The hotel denied a refund but offered a ‘free’ stay for my room. I already had to move to another place so I no longer needed their services and persisted on a refund. The hotel denied a refund in reference their policy. Even after saying that they were not able to provide a room for me that they did not have any left available. They still will not offer me a refund and hotels.com was not able to assist or hold the hotel accountable for not having available rooms for me. I still have not received a refund for a room that was not clean or sanitary to be in. Will not recommend booking. You may run the risk of a room that is not suitable to stay in and they are not willing to issue a refund

Rummet var trångt med väldigt lite utrymme vid fotändan av sängen. Mattan var smutsig och lakanet hade ett hål. Det fanns ingen toalett på rummet, och hotellet har mycket smala trappor med små steg. Man kan lätt ramla om man inte är försiktig. Det finns ingen hiss, och om det blir en brand eller en nödsituation blir det svårt att ta sig ut om man är på femte våningen. Det finns bara en toalett och dusch för alla gäster på en enda våning. Frukost ingår inte, och du behöver betala 9 euro för frukosten. Till d'état lägger du till en taxa på 30 euro. Dessutom finnd det folk som verkar inte bry sig och kan kolla på TV på hög volym klockan två på natten. Receptionen säger att det inte finns några regler och att folk kan titta på TV. Så var det varje natt.

Agréable surprise

Contrairement à certains commentaires que j'avais lu avant de venir dans cet hôtel, j'ai été agréablement surpris. Le personnel est accueillant et avenant, la chambre est petite mais confortable et propre. Si j'ai de nouveau affaire dans le quartier, je reviendrai dans cet hôtel sans problème.
