Located in the historical Île Saint-Louis. Once home to many writers and artists, this island was the centre of the “Vieux Paris”. Now praised by the locals, every street and street corner looks like a classical French movie set. Hugged by the Seine River you will be a few steps away from Notre Dame Cathedral, you will also find some of the beautiful Parisian landmarks and monuments on both sides of the river.

A view over the Seine and Pont Marie

This is a good central location for sightseeing and dining. The quais on this island are lined with grand old and historic townhouses. There was heavy construction everyday except Sunday, either in the same building or next one, so that noise marred my stay a bit. The interior is very stylishly done up but not very practical—Ok for a short stay. The sitting/lounge and dining areas were my favorite spots as they had great views.
