Stylish loft for Paris Olympics, Housekeeping and Swag included!
Welcome to our secret stylish loft inside a lush courtyard, which we've been renting off-market until now. Free Official Paris Olympics swag for each guest, and housekeeping included in nightly rate. Canal Saint Martin is the place to be, with countless cafés, restaurants, small artisanal shops, outdoor markets. The beautiful park Buttes Chaumont is up the road, closer still the Canal, where Parisians lounge in the late summer sun. Our place is quietly ensconced in a plant-filled courtyard. Ground floor with a patio, easy to come and go, with massive skylights bringing light all day. Outside we have a corner patio, where you can enjoy coffee, meals, or an apéritif- or just the sun! The main living & dining area has an open kitchen with an island and 2 bar stools, and a dining table that seats 6. High ceilings and cathedral skylights provide natural light all day. The apartment has air-conditioning and air-purifiers. The living room has a smart TV, books, board games, and a sofa bed that comfortably sleeps 2. There are an additional two single mattresses that can be used for large groups, making the total sleeping capacity eight people. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, dishwasher, induction stovetop, Nespresso coffee machine, and more. The first bedroom has a queen bed and a reading corner/ small desk area, perfect for working on your laptop. The second bedroom has two levels. Downstairs there is a laundry area (washer and dryer), closets and shelves for your personal affairs. Upstairs are two single beds with two skylights (and blackout screens to block the light). Fiberoptic cable provides broadband WiFi throughout the apartment and on our patio. We provide housekeeping every 3rd day to clean and change the linens. The property is an old workshop that was converted into an apartment by a locally well-known architect about 15 years ago. We have 10 foot-high ceilings, and in the living room under the the skylights reaches 14 feet. The apartment is wheelchair accessible for the first bedroom, with wide doors and no steps. Transportation: We are a 2-3 minute walk to the métro line 2 6-7 minute walk to the line 11 5-6 minute walk to the lines 7 and 5 15 minute walk to Place de la République station which has the 3, 8, 9 ,11 The best thing to do is download the multilingual app designed by the Paris Olympic committee, for Android and iPhone, called "Transport Public Paris 2024" It will calculate and propose different itineraries either by bus, métro, or taxi. I personally use the app CityMapper to get around, it has a lot of great features. But let me know if you have any questions!
