This clean, well-lit apartment could be ideal, with a view of the golden dome of Les Invalides outside the living room window. But the installed dishwasher didn't work; the TV didn't appear to work, the washing machine did one load and couldn't be engaged a second time. Perhaps things would have gone better were there instruction manuals, but there were none. Otherwise, the apartment was fully equipped with things like ironing boards, fans, paper products, etc. As for the art on the walls--it's the owner's right to put up what he or she wishes, but I would suggest travel posters, available inexpensively, rather than paintings of soft-focused women in various stages of undress.
