“We spent our 5th anniversary there. The furniture in our room had seen better days, which didn't matter to us, other than that everything else was really good. There was a bartender in the lounge on Thursday night 6/11 with a unique name which I can't remember, who was great! We got in late, and decided to have a couple drinks before bed. He made us feel welcomed, and was fun to talk to. He seemed to really enjoy his job. We will be back next time we are in the Superior/Duluth area.”

“Hotel was very clean, had no issues with anything, the staff where all very nice!! Would Def stay here again!”

“It’s very vintage and a historic. So you have to be ok with not having modern furniture and things like an automatic room temp control- we had a ceiling fan and window. It was cool outside, but there is occasional noise from being on the main st in Superior. -Staff were very friendly and supporting us for Grandmas marathon. -Parking is super easy and free -Close to UW superior (less than 7 mins by car) for bus pickup. -it was very very affordable for a hotel room during Grandma’s……

“It's OK to stay. Breakfast is good enough. But the back door is not well secured”

“Microwave wasn’t cleaned, bed table tops not wiped down but the place was fairly decent. Biggest negative is the parking is 2 blocks offsite and currently an additional $10/nights stay. Rooms are priced respective of the hotel’s proximity to the Canal Park and the Duluth Entertainment Center /DECC.”

“Our stay was perfect for what we needed! The check in and out process was simple and fast! The Breakfast was handy! The Staff was great! The pool option was great (hope to utilize next time). I will add that the architecture and layout of the rooms was a bit out of the ordinary. It's a bit hard to explain, but I defiantly got lost at first. However, that would not deter me staying again!”

“Everything was excellent: clean, cool, spacious, easy accessibility, and great location. The staff responded quickly and professionally to my questions. Stayed on the line with me to walk me through the entry process (bc I need hand-holding; you likely won’t need it.). I highly recommend this place!”

“Love this place. We did the Circle Tour and stayed here for our first two nights. We liked it so well that we cancelled our hotel for our last night of the tour and returned to Pier B Resort.”

“Cute little place on Lake Superior! The place was very clean and the staff was very kind & helpful. The hotel has a popcorn bar with fixings from 4-7pm in the lobby and smores in the evening out on the patio area, both were a great “free” perk! Only things that weren’t great was that the hot tub is pretty small (capacity of 5 people) and the balconies don’t have a lot of privacy. Otherwise a very nice stay!”

“Entire stay was delightful. Room, staff, dining options - all first rate. Easy stroll to unique shopping and short drive to excellent hiking. Will be back to Duluth and definitely stay at Fitgers.”
