Hotel operator had in advance communicated with the local police in that hotel guests with car could still drive into hotel garage with exemption. The arrangement was highly appreciated.”

“A really great place to stay especially if you have sporting events at the Mount or Blake Park. Everything is clean, tidy and very comfortable. Check in at reception was easy and you were made to feel right at home with excellent customer service. The location is also safe and handy to eating places which was so handy. We will certainly be back when we have another sporting event up the Mount for sure!”

“First time back since under new management and it has been redecorated. Stayed in one of the front units, 1A. Friendly, welcoming receptionist/manager, clean and tidy and refreshed after a makeover. Kitchen much improved with nice double door fridge, excellent grocery storage. Has a breakfast extension for 5, as well as a dining room table with seating for 5 and high chairs at table on verandah, which overlooks the busy road. “Having arrived after 30hrs in the air and 2.5hrs drive from Auckland we could not have been happier with the Accomodation. From stepping into reception to be met with a friendly warm smile, to a clean, large studio apartment with everything we could need! I think they thought we were a little mad that we wanted to jump in the pool at only 15Degs outside ( the pool isn't heated) but it was just what we needed to refreshen up the muscles after nearly two days of traveling!
