“La climatisation très efficace!! Le personnel est courtois, j’ai adoré mon séjour et je n’avais pas eu à partir, j’y serais resté bien plus longtemps!! Petit Déjeuner, Bar où on peut prendre une consommation jusqu’à minuit, terrasse à l’extérieur, un hôtel parfait!!”

“Check-in war zum Glück auch zur späten Stunde möglich. Der Nachtportier ist Vorort und hilft. Familienzimmer ist sehr gut gewesen, separater Raum mit Bett und ausgezogener Couch zusätzlich zum Eltern Doppelbett Bad etwas klein, aber für 1-2 Nächte ausreichend. Liegt direkt an der Straße, hört man aber nicht. Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert. Frühstück muss man am Abend davor oder bei der Buchung des Zimmers bestellen. Spontan geht das nicht. Ein Kaffee am Morgen allerdings schon. Zimmer war……

“L’hôtel n’est clairement pas à la hauteur des standards affichés. Le petit déjeuner était passable, la chambre n’avait pas la climatisation juste un vulgaire ventilateur, la propreté de la salle de bain laissait clairement à désirer d’autant que le ménage n’a pas été fait régulièrement pendant le séjour. Bref c’était la deuxième fois que nous venions au Castel Damandre le niveau est en baisse et clairement il n’y aura pas de troisième fois.”

“We arrived at the hotel after a long drive from near Bordeaux and just wanted dinner and then bed. We’d chosen the hotel because it had a restaurant but on arrival we were told the restaurant was closed on weekends. So we had to get back in the car and drive to a fast food chain for an average meal. Next morning, breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The area around the hotel is industrial so don’t be put off while you’re looking for the hotel address. There’s onsite parking, the rooms are……
