“If I could give La Cavenera Etnae more than 5* I would. We stayed here for one night for my 30th birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We did the Eruption wine tasting and Roberto was so knowledgeable and exciting to listen to. I had the fish menu and my partner the meat and both options were absolutely incredible. The facilities are beautiful, the pool and vineyard walks are so peaceful and relaxing. The room was super comfortable and clean. We will definitely come back!”

“The view here is everything i dream.of for when i retire. Stunning views. Hosts are amazingly friendly and helpful and food was delicious and without all those horrible chemicals. All from the farm. The wine was a little too good and gave us some wonderful dreams ( sarcasm btw)”

“Lovely property in a beautiful setting. No water in the swimming pool for our March visit, but large bath was very welcome.”

“This place was lovely, right on the slopes of mount Etna. Guiseppe and Louisa were fantastic hosts and were very friendly and helpful. Good set up of our apartment with separate living space to bedroom with lots of room. Only downside was small shower and no AC. On the day we were leaving they were quite happy for us to take our time as room was free for that day so woke up late and after sorting ourselves out we took a tour of the winery. Guiseppe is a 6th gen wine maker who is making wine……

“We loved this place. We have never stayed at an Agrituristica before so were unsure what to expect. It could not have been nicer. Everything was clean, fresh and new. And the proprietress was lovely. We went to a wine tasting first at Gambino Winery 7 minutes away which I highly recommend. This was the perfect location for that. We left in the morning for Taormina which was an easy 35 minute drive. we are a family of Americans figuring it out as we go. This part of our trip went very easily……

“We were extremely lucky to be the only guests on the main house which made our short stay to be very special! All the staff made us feel like special guests. The landscape is iidilic, the design of the room and common spaces is perfect! The wine tasting with food pairing is a must.”

“Si tratta di un bell'agriturismo immerso completamente nel silenzio di un bosco e con una meravigliosa vista sulla vallata, l’accoglienza è stata impeccabile, le camere pulite e molto comode, ottimo punto d’appoggio per potersi spostare nei vari paesi vicini è molto caratteristici. È la prima volta che soggiornavo da loro e sicuramente non mancherò di tornarci un'altra volta. Super consigliato.”
