Amazing Beachfront Villa, Aeolian Islands View And Direct Access To The Beach

Our stunning 230m² villa, designed by an architect, is situated on the beautiful Sicilian beach of Mongiove (Patti-Messina). The villa offers an exceptional view of the Aeolian Islands (Vulcano, Stromboli, Lipari, Panarea, Salina, Alicudi, and Filicudi). What makes it unique is its direct access to the beach and sea. From our terrace-garden, you only need to step onto the sand to enjoy the beautiful Sicilian beach.

The 230m² house is spread over three floors. The ground floor features a spacious living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom, all surrounded by a large terrace-garden filled with plants and flowers, making it the perfect spot for lunch and dinner while watching the summer sunset. The first and second floors, also surrounded by terraces, house the bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with an additional bathroom.

On the first floor, you will find two master bedrooms with double beds and air conditioning, as well as a single bedroom. The second floor includes another master bedroom and a room with three single beds, completing the villa.

You will be conveniently located between the two main Sicilian airports: Catania and Palermo, both about an hour and a half drive away. This prime location makes it easy to explore our beautiful island, with destinations such as Taormina, Cefalú, Milazzo, Palermo, Catania, and Siracusa all within easy reach by car. For hiking enthusiasts, the Nebrodi and Madonie mountains, as well as Etna, Europe’s largest volcano (over 3300 meters high), are also nearby.

If you wish to spend a weekend in the charming mountain village of Isnello, we also have some apartments there and can arrange a special offer. Mongiove is a peaceful fishing village where you will find the tranquility and relaxation everyone deserves during a holiday. It is also famous for its "Grotte," small beaches formed among the rocks and reefs of Monte Giove (Mountain of Mongiove), easily accessible with a 5-10 minute walk along the beach.

A few restaurants and bars, as well as a Lido, can be found in Mongiove. However, in just a 5-minute drive, you can reach Patti and Patti Marina, both filled with small bars and restaurants.

The Messina - Palermo highway (Patti exit) provides convenient access to the villa and serves as a great starting point for exploring Sicily. Parking is free throughout Mongiove and is often available right in front of the villa's main entrance. From Patti, daily mini-cruises depart to the Aeolian Islands, perfect for a day trip that allows you to visit multiple islands and enjoy the beauty of the archipelago from the sea. Alternatively, ferries to the islands depart from Milazzo. Patti also has a train station.

Großzügiges Haus direkt am Strand

-Kommunikation hat prima geklappt und wir wurden freundlich in Empfang genommen -Es war das Ferienhaus der Familie und entsprechend mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht (WiFi klappte gut, wir durften auch das Kanu benutzen um zu den landwärts unzugänglichen Buchten zu paddeln) -der Ort hat prima Bäcker, Restaurant und Minimarkt die auch in der Nebensaison offen haben - ist aber ansonsten in der Nebensaison angenehm ruhig [im Sommer soll es turbulenter zugehen]

The villa overall was great. Main lounge sitting area requires more seating. The view is to die for. Nice little deli almost next door. People of Mongiove very friendly. Well worth a visit and stay.

Silvesterferien in Mongiove

Wir durften Silvesterferien in Giovannis Haus verbringen und hatten zu 10´t eine tolle Zeit. Die Umgebung war sehr schön und das Haus direkt am Meer lud zu Momenten auf der Terrrasse ein. Wir haben viele Ausflüge unternommen und wurden grosse Fans von Sizilien. Leider war es im Haus selber sehr kalt. Wir haben jeden Abend ein Feuer im Cheminee gemacht, aber leider hat auch dieses nur gerade den Wohnzimmerbereich warm gehalten. Die beiden Zimmer die man heizen konnte blieben einigermaßen warm, aber die anderen drei Zimmer blieben konsant sehr kalt. Wir schliefen alle in Vollmontour (Pijama, Onesie, Schal, 5 Decken etc...) Leider hat auch das warme Wasser nicht gereicht, pro Tag konnte ca. 1-3 Personen duschen, aber nur kurz, da schnell wieder kaltes Wasser nach kam. Da wir gerade in einer stürmischen Episode auf Sizilien waren, fiel der Strom regelmässig aus und der Wind rüttelte und pfiff sehr penetrant durch das ganze Haus. Wir dachten ein paar Mal, dass das Haus zusammenfällt. Wir würden das Haus für Silvesterferien nicht empfehlen, aber wir denken, dass es sich für Frühling/Sommer/Herbst auf jeden Fall sehr gut eignet, da es ansonsten wirklich sehr schön gross, freundlich und super gelegen ist. Milazzo als Ausflugsziel (Burg/Kap/Leuchtturm), Taormina, Cefalu, Etnatour über etnaround etc... können wir herzlichst empfehlen. Wir werden vermutlich wieder auf Sizilien kommen :)

Super Lage direkt am Meer

Sehr schönes -etwas älteres- großes Ferienhaus direkt am Meer. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind genau wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Sehr gut ausgestattet, wir durften alles benutzen, auch die Tischtennisplatte, den Grill und das Kajak. Tolle Terrasse mit offenem Übergang zum Strand. Strand sehr sauber und gut zum Baden geeignet. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert - gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Can't go wrong - highly recommend

Our family of six adults stayed in this wonderful villa for 6 days and nights and enjoyed every minute. The 3-story home was clean, spacious, well-equipped, and had tremendous views off all three floors. It was easy to access from the highway, and we had no trouble finding parking each day on the street. The beach was clean, the water was beautiful, and the local food and atmosphere was low-key - just what we wanted. I especially wanted to be able to access the beach from the home with no street in-between, and this was just that and was amazingly affordable even as a beachfront villa! The owner was helpful and courteous and had thought of everything and was very responsive to our needs. All six of us said we would stay there again if we return to Sicily! Loved every minute!
