“Staying at the hotel was a wonderful, relaxing experience throughout the entire four nights we were there. The owners and staff were very friendly, caring and helpful in organising local trips during our stay. The Mexican cooked breakfasts were superb - a great start to the day. The traditional room we booked was beautiful, spacious with hand painted tiles and sink in the bathroom. There was ample space to sit out on the veranda to pass the time overlooking the gorgeous gardens. Happily there……

Desde el momento de la llegada fueron muy amables y la habitación estaba en excelentes condiciones. Solo considerar que no es un espacio del todo adecuado para personas con discapacidad motriz al tener escaleras en sus instalaciones e incluso un par dentro de la habitación.”

“The hotel is old but overall quite nice. The bed was very uncomfortable (hard mattress) and the blankets in the armoire had stains on them. The worst part was the smell coming out of the shower drain. It was putrid and constant. We found ourselves turning the shower on in the night just to get rid of it. That said, we enjoyed our stay in town. We had one of the rooms facing the street and did not find it too loud.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Sandunga Cabanas Boutique in Tzintzunzan. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent, food was delicious. They were very helpful in obtaining transportation for our large group. Other than a leaky shower that needs maintenance our stay was relaxing.”
