"The hotel itself is in a very good location and convenient to access the city. There are lot of shops and malls around, with the Joo Chiat Complex just next door. However, a lot of basic things needed improvement:
1) I had booked this hotel because according to brochures it had free onsite covered parking. I tried to contact the hotel through Hotels.com app to confirm the parking arrangement, but no one responded. Even after Hotels.com tried to contact them on my behalf, they did not respond.
2) They have a locker in the room, but it does not work. Apparently, all lockers have been turned off, they are just a showpiece.
3) They have a phone in the room, but it does not work. According to the hotel, only our room 226 phone was not working.
4) The room does not have any windows. To the hotel's credit, they do inform about this when booking.
5) They are aware that we are 4 occupants in the room, yet they only leave 3 towels everyday. We have to go down to collect the 4th towel as the phone in the room is not working.
Although the hotel has potential to be a great one, they have only themselves to blame due to lacklustre service and poor attitude towards maintenance."
"This was my second stay, and it was still a great experience. The bathrooms are modern, there’s an elevator, and the AC works perfectly. It offers excellent value for the price.
The standard rooms are a bit on the small side—fine for two carry-ons or one large suitcase, but the walkway is narrow, so you’ll have to squeeze past each other. If you have a lot of luggage, I’d recommend booking a larger room.
We experienced a brief power outage on the second night, but it was resolved in about 30 minutes. I’ll definitely be back!"
