「Jacqueline was a superb host. Everything was provided and every care was taken to help us have a wonderful stay. The pool sauna and spa were a fantastic extra and the kitchen was equipped with everything we could ever need. All this in the beautiful setting and gardens in the beautiful Dordogne. We would return in a heartbeat. 」

「Excellent location, really gorgeous pool and spaces outside were perfect for us, we had four adults and five children between us and the youngest was kept safe as there is no access to the pool or the road if you keep the door and gates locked, which was really helpful. Our trips to Aubeterre were lovely and just a short drive away, sadly the restaurant in Montboyer was closed but we enjoyed making pizza outside and cooking lots of meat and salads. 「We loved staying at La Maison, the two residences were perfect for our group of friends. There was plenty of space and different areas to chill out and we used all of them. The pool was a great way to cool down each afternoon. The rooms are spacious with all the basics provided. We were also welcomed with a box of goodies and milk in the fridge. If you plan to use the BBQ, you do need to buy coal and fire starters. We arranged the chef to cook 3 course meals for us, which went really well and...

「We were a party of 8 (4 adults and 4 teenagers). We've just finished the most relaxing week in La Borie. The house gave us lots of space, especially the outside space. We loved the house so much that we didn't really venture out except for the supermarket and one day trip.Everything provided, kitchen well equipped, plancha grill for outdoor dining in the barn, loads of fridge and freezer space.Really lovely hosts in Helen and John.
