Charming Log Cabin Beautiful Tonto Creek! Wedding & Event Venue

You will always feel at home at Rancho Tonto Cabin nestled below the Magnificent Mogollon Rim. Located just 2 miles off Hwy. 260 and the Fish Hatchery Rd., just 17 miles east of Payson. Rancho Tonto Cabin is surrounded by natural beauty at 6200 feet elevation. Our scenic creeks and nearby lakes beckon you to fish, hike or just relax under sunny skies and starlit nights.

There are many wonderful activities right out your door, scenic hikes, wild flowers, fossils and enjoying drives along the Rim Rd., with its panoramic views are a few ways to soak up the relaxing area.

Wild game such as turkey, elk, deer, coyote and bear are often spotted in the forest. Children love wading in the creek or they may delight in horseback riding nearby. Cross country skiing and snow shoeing are also close by. We are only 2 miles to Zane Grey's former cabin site and the state fish hatchery.

A slice of heaven
Property is is idyllic. Ponds streams large grass areas. Very very peacful. The cabin is well maintainted and the jar of apple butter proved sublime. We will be back.

We loved our stay at Brenda's cabin in the Tonto Forest. We loved the peaceful nature of the grounds, mixed with the fun and excitement of catching Trout. My seven-year-old loved fishing, picking blackberries/apples, hanging out near the creek and enjoying the ramada area. The great thing for a dog owner was the ability to take our dog on the trip and not have to worry about that dog sitting arrangements that usually need to happen when we go on a trip.
