“We travel all over the world and have stayed in many hotels and B&Bs. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Chirping Cricket for 2 nights. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Penticton. Nikki is an amazing host and great cook! I highly recommend her place to you. For 2 couples, the 2 bedroom suite in the basement is perfect for sharing.”

I needed to head out the next morning very early and he got up two hours earlier than usual to accommodate providing me with a coffee and a bagel and banana for the road. I didn’t ask him to do this, but he offered it and insisted. I found the bed was great for sleeping with super nice pillows. “The price was great. Not clean, bed should be replaced, floors peeling, concrete cracking and wooden stairs rotting. Bacterial stain on shower curtain. Bed rock hard.”

“Our check-in experience was easy and quick and the front desk staff were helpful. Getting a luggage cart for check in and check out was near impossible. We were told there was only one luggage cart and that it was likely in someone's room since the staff couldn't locate it in the hallways. The room was comfortable and stocked well with a nespresso machine which was a treat! The blinds unfortunately in the room weren't large enough to block out the light from the lights in the parking area and……

“As noted, I stayed at the hotel for 8 nights. The room was cleaned every day and the staff at the facility were very friendly. The bathroom fan however should be repaired or replaced (very noisy). Breakfast was adequate. However, I would have liked to see a little more variety. No variation in the eggs and sausage available.”

“Facing the golf course water foundation is nice. However, there was a body hair on one do the bed and the air conditioner was too noisy at night. The waterside in the pool was very fast, some kids found it very fun but some found found it quite intimidating. The waffle in the breakfast is yummy.”
