"They gave me a room with a defective lock/door handle! The surface of the door itself was visibly broken. I could NEVER get into my room with the key. Each time a male manager or maintenance man had to be called to strong arm it open. I even had a man from a neighboring room try to help me to no avail. Also the shower handle fell off in my hand, and some of the elevator buttons didn’t light up. I should have been given a different room or given a room at another hotel. Staff did not seem overly concerned. "

"Nice hotel with large rooms. Decent breakfast included in room rate. Quiet. Only downside is the location. It’s sketchy, dirty and homeless and drug addicts everywhere. It’s a 4 min walk to subway to everything NYC has to offer. Never felt threatened just stating facts."

"My air conditioner was stuck on heat and room was stifling the entire time despite multiple maintenance attempts. Hot water was no consistent and the shower would not drain properly."

"The Pros: Friendly staff, good location and somewhat affordable. Situated across the street from the 320 bus stop (takes you to NYC's Port Authority Bus Terminal in less than 25 minutes) The Cons: Place is not well maintained, Old and run down. Needs major overhaul. Sofa bed was unusable, broken and dirty. We're a family traveling with 3 kids, a sofa bed was a must."
