Location and friendliness of staff sells this place. If you are willing to take that 100 stairs you will be in paradise. Away from the noise and rush, simple but tasteful meals, cold drinks, perfectly relaxing. Depends on the tide surfing for beginners to pro, SUP, kayaking or just strolling on the beach, fantastic.

A truly unique experience in Uluwatu with spectacular cliff views, beautiful beachfront surroundings, and most importantly wonderful staff. One very surprising downside, however, was the complete lack of bidets or bidet sprays. In Indonesia, even remote areas, convenience stores, and restaurants commonly have them, so it was particularly odd for a hotel of this caliber. It’s the 21st century—how are guests expected to properly clean themselves with simply tissue paper? Overall, a wonderful stay, and many thanks again to the fantastic staff.

It's not a hotel, it's just a boutique/hostel. Asking guests to carry luggage, no proper access, there is no check-in (not safe at all).

Oh my gosh this hotel is possibly my favourite place in the world. The rooms, the lobby, the dining area, the views - all STUNNING. The staff are really helpful and SO friendly. We had breakfast here through our stay and it was delicious every time. They offer lunch and dinner here too but we mostly ate out as we wanted to see more of Uluwatu. Its about a 15 minute walk into town, or you can order a taxi super easily. There are 100 steps down to the hotel and they're quite steep - this is the only way in and out - but the staff will help you carry your bags. When the tide is in the sea comes right up to the hotel, and when its out there's a huge (rocky) beach accessible from the lobby. Lots of surfers to watch from here, and a 20 minute walk up the road to Padang Padang is ideal for beginner surfers. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets every other day. The sunset over the sea is viewable from anywhere in the hotel, including your room. I almost cried when we had to leave this place - highly recommended.

The hotel was super cute, but to get there was hard. Don’t come with a lot of bags, you will have to go down at least 150 steps. But the staff was really nice and food was super good.
