“Such a gem of a property, and exactly true to photos. I love to find unique places to stay and this choice was it! They tended to our needs quickly, and even came and cleaned and filled the pool while we were there so our boys could use it all day. The only fallback is it is 30 minutes away from Bacalar, so if you don't have plans to cook on your holiday (that was me) it is a bit of driving. But if you stock up with fruit from the road stands and some food before arriving, you will be glad……

“Absolutely lovely! It was an oasis in the middle of the jungle forest. The staff are friendly and responsive. We loved the pool and the central common area. Our apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The showers were great. Please know the dirt road was quite bumpy but doable for a regular vehicle. ”

“This was our first visit to Bacalar, it is trully an amazing place. If you are looking for a secluded lakefront property where you can feel like you are part of nature, this is the place. We spent 4 days in Sally´s house and it was an incredible experience, although being in a gated community it feels like you are totally by yourself and we never saw anyone else in the lagoon during our vacation. The house has a couple of Kayaks that our kids loved, feeling like explorers researching all over……
