“Unique experience at what is surely a unique resort. I wasn't sure what to expect at a resort which is catering to divers and yoga enthusiasts but I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming the staff and owners of the resort were. We were very well looked after and the service was excellent. The owners of the property check in with the guests directly and are very open to feedback and suggestions as well as provide tips and suggestions for tourists while on Penida island.

“The resort is new and comfy, but doesn’t offer hair dryer. All staffs are very friendly and dedicated! I was impressed by a waitress in restaurant, she tried to make a iced latte when it was not offer on the menu! The food are really good! We had 5 meals during our 2 nights stay, each dish tastes great! The location is quite remote, so if you are going to stay here, it would be recommended to rent a bike at harbour first or book a bike with the resort in advanced. Lastly, there was some issue……

“Hotel was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I was able to message her on WhatsApp for whatever I needed. “I booked a stay at The Sweet Corn on Nusa Penida from July 19, 2024, to July 21, 2024. Upon arrival, I found the place completely deserted. I sent a message to the owner and called the number provided with the reservation but received no response. There was no one around the property either.

“Had an amazing stay at the hotel. The staff are super professional and friendly, and also available at all times. The villa was absolutely beautiful. The pool appeared clean, and the outdoor shower was great. The only small minuses we experienced were some lack of eye for detail - room service failed to clear away a few items for the entire stay (2 days), and the hotel gym was pretty hot. “I loved this villa. The area is quiet and they arranged for a driver to pick us up at the ferry. He drove us to a couple spots that we requested before dropping us off at this villa. The service and food we ordered at the villa was inexpensive and very good as well. I would stay here again. ”

“Basic bungalow in the middle of the island. Very clean inside with big shower, modern toilet, and shampoo/soap dispensers. No safe to store passport or spare money. You can rent a moped from management to cruise the island. It is not a luxury bungalow where you lounge at a pool all day. But if you plan to be out to explore all day and want to come back to a clean room, this is a great price. The only issue is that it is near the main road and you can hear noise from mopeds ride by till around……

“Gorgeous property! It has only 10 bungalows making it a more intimate and private lodging option.
The only con for me was the food. Breakfast was included with the room and it was ok. Dinner was a bit of a disappointment.
The hotel is close to Crystal Bay and they offer free shuttle service to and from the beach which is amazing because, as some people warned me, Nusa Penida is a bit difficult to navigate on your own due to the conditions of the roads.
Also the staff of the hotel was amazing!……

“This hotel was a real nice find! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was 10 minutes drive from the port and 30- 40 mins drive to some of the main tourist attractions. Which, for the size of the island, is about as close as you get whilst still being near the main area and restaurants. Very friendly hotel pets always looking for cuddles (1 dog, 2 cats). A lovely pool but could really do with some sun loungers! That is my only suggestion. We loved it here ”

“Our stay was amazing at the bungalow! Things just to keep in mind is you are in the middle of the jungle so we did find a lot of ants in our room and some other bugs but nothing that overly affected us. Other than that the rooms were in tip top shape and the staff was amazing. It is on a mountain so ask the receptionist about delivering food, it wasn’t overly expensive as well. They brought dinner and breakfast right to your door and we’re so kind. Would definitely stay again!! :)”
