"Great and modern hotel.
GOOD:
- amazing breakfast
- large rooms with balcony and mountain view
- lot's of parking / garage and front of hotel
- friendly stuff
BAD:
- if you like a coffee after breakfast the charges are extremely high (you get it from the same machine where you get your morning coffee for free)
- charges in general for drinks are very high
- they don't take American Express "

"Handy accomodation half an hour removed from Füssen and the other major extractions of the area. The price was fair for the size of the accomodation."

"Nice, clean quiet room albeit a little cold (no extra heating). Nice staff, great restaurant and amazing connection - 5 min from highway, 1h to Legoland, 1h to Neuschweinstein and about 40 min to Munich downtown. Great base for families!"

"With the old world charme comes an older, somewhat outdated hotel, HOWEVER, the location is AMAZING and it's adorable and very clean. Right smack in the center of town, surrounded by restaurants, shops, views, etc. Great and ample breakfast buffet. Only small challenge was the digital check-in process as it kept a few of the other travelers also a bit confused... but if you take your time it all works out. Would definitely stay again!"
"Very nice hotel in an excellent location. the room was quite nice and airy. The breakfast was very good, as was the food in the restaurant. My only complaint is that they stop serving warm food after 8:30 p.m. and only cold food till 9. YOu have to plan to be back by then or you have no real options in the town."
"Hotel Zugspitze was one of the highlights of our Bavarian vacation. Parking was convenient. We temporarily parked beside the hotel to unload our luggage before moving our vehicle to the hotel’s private guest parking area. Although we arrived before the official check-in time, the staff graciously stored our luggage while we explored the nearby Partnach Gorge. When we returned later that afternoon, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that our luggage had already been delivered to our room.
To make our stay even more memorable, the hotel upgraded us to Room 103, which featured a beautiful balcony overlooking the majestic Zugspitze. The room was modern, spacious, impeccably clean, beautifully furnished, and smelled fresh. It included many thoughtful amenities that made our stay exceptionally comfortable.
We chose the half-board package, which was an excellent value. Afternoon snacks, dinner, and breakfast all offered generous selections of fresh, delicious food. We also enjoyed the hotel’s large, spotless jacuzzi and wellness facilities after a day of sightseeing.
Another detail we appreciated was that guests were free to choose where they wanted to sit during meals, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes from downtown Garmisch-Partenkirchen and provides easy access to the surrounding attractions.
Our only regret is that we stayed for just one night. We highly recommdnd this hotel to anyone visiting the area."
"Hotel was great, clean looked old but that was the vibe, big room, friendly staff nice breakfast too and quiet. Only issue was no fans available for the room so had to puck up my own but would go again even had parking too."
"We travel a lot and this hotel is one of the best! Beautifully designed and with excellent amenities, great staff, food, rooftop pool with amazing views of the mountains - highly recommend."

"Great friendly staff and superb location (with payable parking but you may need to book in advance). Rooms are a little dated and comfort rooms quite small, double bed is two single matressses which is a bit odd and it does close up at 9pm, though thats not a problem especially as there are plenty of bars etc. close by. All that said really good value and worth the price paid, and thanks to the nice people."
"when checking-out the staff wanted to double charge us for the room, despite the fact that it was prepaid. They did not apologize and it felt like they tried to take advantage of us. Further, we were not given any extra time to leave our car on the parking spot that we paid 20 Euro for. Nice room, good location, but the check-out smelled funny."
