It was being revamped at the time with seemingly new bathrooms judging by the number of baths placed around the reception area, and chose to come back here in summer. However, when we did we were surprised at what we encountered, having stayed in a fantastic hotel in Kato Stalos before our arrival here. This was more like a business hotel than a vacation hotel. “Excellent property and staff. Well-constructed property and comfortable, well furnished rooms. Oceanfront rooms have unobstructed views of the best beach in the area with the property directly across the street from the beach. The street has little traffic / road noise (not a concern). Quick (< 5 minute) walk to main shopping area and restaurants, but a world away from the hustle and bustle. Better than average included breakfast buffet. Use of well-padded, comfortable beach loungers and……

“The hotel had a 80s decor and vibe, but the not-so-modern outlook is totally, if not over compensated, by the impeccable service, cleanliness, view at the breakfast restaurant, quality of food, and the ample size of the swimming pools which provide more than enough room for everybody to enjoy. I paid extra for a side sea view room because the picture looks like a frontal sea view, but it wasn’t, and I probably would not have chosen the same room type next time.……

“The property was beautiful, clean and well equipped lovely products in the bathroom, fresh towels and great breakfast. Maria and Nikos were the perfect Cretan host with all the warmth and kindness that only the Cretan’s can offer . We temporarily lost our car key they jumped to help us, collecting us from the salt lake pouring balm ( wine ) to soothe our troubles and then returning us to the salt lake and our vehicle , once we had realised we had stashed the key in a beach shoe thank you guys……
