“The location could not have been better! Just a very short distance to the lifts - in fact on the powder day, the lift line went PAST the unit! “Beware what the listing for the room says. Mine said king bed studio. Nowhere did it say it was a MURPHY bed, ie not a real mattress - plus the bed angled down towards the head. I asked front desk if it was possible to change rooms but they said the king bed rooms are not part of the hotel, that they are privately and the hotel has no control. “We stayed at Village North Whistler for 2 nights. Initially we planned to stay for one night but then changed the plan and booked the second night. The place is awesome, conveniently located close to the chair lifts. We came in this was very nice because we didn't have to wake up very early in the morning in order to drive.
