「We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Castillo. The terrace had an amazing view of Arenal volcano, and we saw so many birds in the backyard. 「We had a lovely stay in this house just outside La Fortuna. We had delicious meals and highly recommend having breakfast and dinner at the house. It was amazing to see Flash the sloth hanging out in the garden. The house has a great location near activities but gives an authentic feel. Pura vida!」

「On the property lives 2 roosters which are very loud (and beautifull). And you have to feed them otherwise they will scream non stop. They start to beg for food around 4 am. Plus there is no hot water in sinks which makes living very uncomfortable (no dishwasher as well). If you want to have a nice shower - forget about it! 「This place is pretty special. It is a small, low key resort. My son wanted to stay close to the pool, so we stayed in a standard room. The room wasn't great. The beds were hard, it could use a refresh, the air conditioner was loud, and there was no soundproofing.
