「Booked through expedia. Was placed in a room on the ground floor next to a mechanical room that had an extremely noisy machine running. Asked for a change of room and the staff said you have to go back to expedia. It appeared that the staff knew there was a problem with that room. After demanding to speak to the manager , who wasn't available, i stated I'd be willing to pay more et ceterawho, the staff finally agreed to give us a different room. Turn out the room was actually less expensive, and...

「I went during renovations , I booked on Expedia and when I got there the pool.amd hot tub were closed . I was more upset paying what was I think was full price. The staff said the renovations where on there site. They where said renovations nov_may」

「The room was large and comfortable. We were not aware that the dining room closed at 2pm on Sunday as we arrived hungry at 1:45 and were left forward to an early dinner. Very disappointed. However we did enjoy a great breakfast the next morning! We had some trouble with the tv and the front desk staff was great helping us out. Beautiful grounds. Thanks.」

「Everything about this stay was good. The location is very convenient, just off the freeway, yet the rooms were quiet and peaceful. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful, and quick. Any of the staff we saw were very friendly and always said hello. The room was clean and everything in the room worked. It was quiet and very comfortable. The pool was clean and warm, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. I will gladly stay here again.」

「I’d say the only nice thing was the young lady who took my hotel key cards at the end of my stay. She actually said thank you. Rooms were meh, breakfast was late, hallways smelled of a mix of old Indian food and baby diaper. Never again. Dirty, loud guests, tiny towels, small rooms. Rude staffer with zero personality to greet your arrival. Stay somewhere else.」

「A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. They made sure I got a shot at a second drink before closing as well. The rooms are delightfully furnished and the bathrooms are a standout feature. As they mention on premises,...
