What a beautiful house in a wonderful environment. We had a marvelous time staying there for a full month. It was really our home away from home. The view is spectacular (I won't soon forget the mist-shrouded hills in the morning!). The house is fully equipped and super-comfortable. The kitchen has everything you might need, and more. Cozy sitting room, great bedrooms, and bathrooms. And when you're staying for a month washing machine and dryer are essential. A perfect stay. The weather was ideal towards the end of the month and we enjoyed the swimming pool too! We will come back. Thank you so much, Josephina and Herman!

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in dit prachtige huis. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien en het heeft ook nog eens een fantastisch uitzicht. Je hebt een auto nodig om de buurt te kunnen ontdekken. Helaas waren wij er te kort om al het moois te bekijken. Wij komen graag nog een keer terug!

Very spacious house with stunning views over wooded hills and plenty of space for relaxing outside. Eating out locally was disappointing so the large well-equipped kitchen was a life-saver.

Wat jammer dat ons verblijf zo kort was! De villa is fantastisch, de verhuurder verwende ons met wijn en lekkers in de koelkast. Ook het weer was geweldig en heerlijk om de streek te verkennen. Alles was al in bloem en de zon scheen: wat een verademing! Portugal blijkt één van de veiligste plekken nu met de Corona-situatie. Hopelijk waait alles snel over en kunnen we snel weer komen genieten van het heerlijke uitzicht en een plons in het zwembad wagen.

Great location with superior and stylish accommodation. Josephina is an excellent hostess and made our stay very comfortable. We loved Coimbra but regretted visiting Porto as it was too crowded. Penela castle is good to visit as is the Schist villages and Aveiro. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

This house is one of the nicest we’ve rented...fabulous, spacious, spotlessly clean apartment and great pool. Jose welcomed us warmly and left some goodies in the kitchen. We had the balconies, pool and garden to ourselves for the entire week. Within easy drive of Coimbra, which we all loved. Overall, a fabulous property, and I’d have no hesitation in returning.

We enjoyed a wonderful two weeks here. The accommodation was set in a beautiful location with wonderful views. With two nearly teenage children we mixed up days relaxing by the swimming pool with days out exploring the region. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, comfortable with a very well-equipped kitchen, and it was great to have an outdoor seating area on the first floor terrace as well as an outdoor eating area with BBQ close to the pool. A car is essential given the location of the property with the coast about 45 mins away, Porto about an hour and a half away and Coimbra a little over half an hour away. Supermarkets were also a little drive away too although Josie had stocked the fridge for our arrival so we didn't need to worry about heading straight out to the supermarket. We had a great time and would happily recommend this property to others.

Casa Túlipa is an immaculate apartment with the most stunning views of the surrounding area. It is also the best-equipped apartment we've ever stayed in. Very spacious, it is ideal for a couple or a family. Outside there are two terraces and a large pool which was cleaned during our week's stay. Would highly recommend.

Josephina was an excellent host, ideal to have the pool to yourself, accommodation spotless, with everything you need. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend this to anyone wanting a getaway from it all holiday in the sun. Car essential, shops and restaurants short drive away. Coimbra city around 20mins, well worth a visit.
