Thank you for choosing our vacation cottage for at least the next week! Please let us know if we can assist you in providing the best experiences Keuka Lake has to offer.
In this booklet, you will find resources and instructions to navigate you in our home and in this great community. If there is something we overlooked please let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.

Please take into consideration there are a few flights of very sturdy stairs with railings (55 STEPS IN TOTAL) going down to the cottage, but PURE TRANQUILITY and DELIGHT ON THE WATER. This cottage is limited to accommodate EIGHT (8) guests (MORE that 8 guests MUST be approved by owners and extra guests charges will apply).
Please enjoy our well stocked kitchen: Microwave, coffee pot/grinder, toaster, blender, ice bucket, plenty of serving plates/drinkware, utensils, cookware/bakeware and more. Refrigerator/ freezer has ice maker, stove/oven is gas, dishwasher and garbage disposal. WIFI and NETFLIX. (No cable)
Bedroom ONE (The lakefront): Sleeps 2: King bed (bedding included), dresser, Flat screen TV, storage bench, and night table plus a roomy closet/hangers.
Bedroom TWO (The Tiki Hut) Sleeps 3: Bunk Bed (twin/upper and full/lower-bedding included), small dresser for personal items, roomy storage bench, side table and clothing rack/hangers.
Bedroom THREE (The Mermaid Room) Sleeps 4: Full bed, Trundle bed (bedding included), small dresser, night stand, very roomy closet/hangers and shelving for clothes/personal items.
Dining and Living Combo: Table with SIX Chairs (and two stools for extra seating), wine rack, couch, two chairs, accent tables, game shelves.
Bathroom ONE: LARGE first floor bathroom with dressing vanity, shower/small tub (bath/beach towels included).
Bathroom TWO: LARGE second floor bath with full-size tub/shower, washer and dryer (bath towels included)
Outdoor LIVING: Deck one-relax on the wicker couch and chairs.
Deck two- Table/chairs with umbrella with 8 chairs, lounge chairs for sunning, bistro table with 2 chairs, glider swing, and conversation bench all positioned on a large party deck directly on the water.
PLEASE NOTE: The Owners do keep water-crafts docked here and may come down to quickly hop on boat/jet ski and go out on the water. There is a set of stairs on the side of the house down to the dock so owners may do so with very little interruption to renters.
There is a covered boat slip for your use if conducive to your water craft.
Enjoy a campfire on the beachfront, fish off the dock, or rest in our Tree house Hammock.

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE!!
(Please clean up all cigarette butts and clean ashtrays (provided) of smoking residue)
Air-conditioning/Heat: If the A/C or heat is on PLEASE keep all doors and window closed to maintain optimal heating and cooling efficiency.
Garbage/Recycle: Garbage pick-up is on Mondays. Renters are responsible to bring any and ALL garbage and recycling up to the roadside and place in garbage tote on designated refuse pick-up days as well as prior to departure.
Laundry: This cottage is equipped with a washer and dryer for personal use. Upon departure, all soiled linens must be removed from beds and place in laundry room (upstairs bathroom) along with any/all towels (no more than ONE LOAD). NOTE: The dryer has an alarm buzzer announcing when the clothes are (near) dry. Just a warning…….it IS LOUD!
PLEASE NOTE: Renters’ are responsible for removing all food, beverages, and any other personal items prior to departure. Thank you for your consideration when placing furniture and household items back in original space which you found them. We understand that accidents happen. Please notify us for any maintenance/repair or replacement is warranted.
Outdoor Grill: Please replace grill cover after each use. Propane hook up so you never need to worry about running out. Turn on/off lever is on the floor next to the grill. TURN OFF after each use.
Umbrella on Dining Table: The umbrella offers great shade while enjoying your outdoor dining experience. Please remember to wind down at the end of each day. Also, please be mindful when using umbrellas on winding days.

We had a great time! Amazing deck! Beautiful location. The only thing I would warn folks about is the steepness of the stairs to the property - there are a lot of stairs and they are pretty steep.

Our trip was absolutely amazing from start to finish and most of that was due to our accommodations. Right from the start communication with the owner was friendly and clear. The cottage was clean and had everything you needed. The kitchen and grill had all the essentials for cooking at home! The bathrooms are large the owners provided plenty of towels for both showering and the lake. We would definitely come back!! There are some stairs to get to and from your car but not too bad in my opinion. The deck and lake front are absolutely amazing and made our time on the lake special! If you have access to a boat their dock is great as well.

The house is well stocked and the use of linens and towels is great. It is hard to beat coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening on the deck! We had 8 people and it was a little tight during inclement weather with everyone inside. The steps are a little bit of a challenge - plan accordingly. we did bring in the heavy stuff by boat.

We grew up in the area and now that we have moved away we rent a cottage on the lake every year. This is by far one of the best locations we have experienced. The stairs are a workout but the view and accommodations are worth every step. The house was immaculate and had virtually everything you can think of to make the stay easy. The grill was in perfect condition and the outdoor space was the best we have ever had. The large deck sits over the water and the swimming is amazing. Most importantly, Deb, the owner, was a great communicator. Any questions we had we answered immediately and she made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone who wants a relaxing time on the lake close to Penn Yan.

My family had a great time enjoying the huge deck with all the seating options and swimming off the dock. Great location, close to several wineries and a new cidery. The property was very clean and plenty of room inside and out. 2 large bathrooms made it easy to get ready and ample storage for all our gear.

The house is placed in a great location, especially if you bring along your own water craft. Lots of restaurants/marinas/on-water gas stations/and a convenient store within minutes by boat. The home was clean and stocked very well with all of your kitchen and bathroom needs. The host was also very responsive and helpful with any questions and recommendations throughout our stay. A truly great first experience here on Lake Keuka. 10/10

A great two weeks on Keuka Lake. Clean, well stocked, home in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Our host Debbie was very cordial and attentive to all our needs. The only drawback was the number of steps down to the home from the road, which Debbie was sure to emphasize before we rented. We had a wonderful memorable time!

This cottage had all that we needed! Cleanly, well stocked, no bugs, and pleasant host! Bedrooms were a little small, but the extra large bathrooms made up for that. We spent quite a bit of time on the extra large deck overlooking the beautiful lake! The 55 stairs to the cottage were a bit much for unloading and loading, but all-in-all, I definitely recommend this Cottage!

This was my second vacation in this lovely lake house and it was as spectacular the second time as it was the first. The house is immaculate, comfortable and charming, and the view of the lake is superb. The deck is remarkable and very spacious. Debbie is a most accommodating host. My only regret is that we did not rent it for an extra week!

This property has everything needed for any kind of Finger Lakes vacation: * It's minutes from the main route into Penn Yan or connections to other lakes and the wine country * The dock and short beach are ideal for access to the lake for swimming, kayaking and boating * The huge deck is great for lounging, eating, drinking and sunbathing The owner is friendly and welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. The only drawback, and we mention this not as a criticism but so that potential renters won't be disappointed, is that access to the property from the road is via a long flight of stairs which might present a challenge to anyone who has mobility issues.

The best feature of the place is the deck above the boat slip. We relaxed and just read and talked for hours. The house also comes with a little beach area which we used with our grandchildren. The kitchen had everything needed to cook in or to grill out. The grill worked great and was easy to clean and use. Overall, we had a great experience.

We were very pleased with the property. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival and the check in process was very easy. In addition the cottage was fully supplied with everything you need to cook, eat and clean. The cottage itself is situated right on and over the water providing great views of the lake and spectacular sunrises. If considering a stay just beware of the 55+ steps (as noted in the listing) to get up and down. We are in our mid 70's and it was a challenge but the worth the effort.

We had a great stay and enjoyed the property. The deck was truly amazing. We definitely got our workout on the stairs leading up to our car, but it’s a definite plus that the deck over the lake is at the same level as the first floor of the house. Deb was very easy to contact and her husband replaced the grill on the first day because of issues with previous renter. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and very well stocked. We only needed groceries. The decks provided a beautiful view. There were two negatives that caused a not perfect rating. Unfortunately, we had no internet access during our stay. While the cabin was immaculate, the yard had been neglected. Sticker bushes were growing over and up through the decking on our arrival. We cut them back to avoid getting scratched further. A little sprucing up before we arrived would have been appreciated. The owner explained that internet in the area was spotty and she would call the provider. Also, that they had not been at the property for a while and there had been a lot of rain that caused the overgrowth.

The cottage was the perfect size for six high school reunion girlfriend getaway. The outside deck was great for spreading out and enjoying the views of the lake. There is also a cozy area of wicker furniture for comfortable relaxing. The pictures are very accurate and the place was very clean. The only drawback is the number of stairs to get down to the cottage( and more stairs inside to get up to the bedrooms and second bathroom. Debbie was great in answering any questions we had.
