The young lady looking after the breakfast area was such a treat in the early mornings. Excellent breakfast and very helpful. She kept her area spotless and everything well stocked. Room was very nice, bed was comfy and the TV picture was perfect. Excellent channel selection too.
Thank you.
The property has just gone through a fantastic renovation; it looks new inside.
Design and feel are great. Hotel staff, especially Matthew was excellent.
Rooms were clean and spacious. We enjoyed our time there.

All new, and looking clean. Front desk woman almost over charged us $200, and also didn’t mention the breakfast available. Parking is not great, and the elevator very noisy, Breakfast room and staff were good, staff there good.
The room was nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. No shower gel provided , which is unusual, had to ask for a bar of soap. Mediocre breakfast. Housekeeping only offered every 3 days, unless requested. That is a ridiculous policy. When did the hospitality industry become inhospitable? The room was serviced as requested, but we still had to ask the front desk for replacement towels as none were supplied.
Newly renovated, clean and modern room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Super comfortable beds and a kitchen with lots of conveniences. Close to downtown and waterfront. A very comfortable stay.
Excellent room, great bed and shower. Staff was super friendly. First night of operation so there was still some light work going on but no bother at all. Would definitely go back.
My family and I are some of the 12,000 Summerland, BC residents who had to evacuate our beloved town because of the wildfires that ravaged our area from August 7th onward.
We felt so fortunate to finally find accommodation at Comfort Inn and Suites in Penticton, BC, after spending a sleepless night in our vehicles.
The attentive staff were very understanding of our plight, and so kind, so helpful.
Our rooms were newly renovated, and very pleasantly welcoming with their lovely decor.
Staying here after our frightening exodus from what seemed like Armageddon all over again certainly helped to ease our pain.

Disliked: Amenities
No tvs or any type of carpets in room so floors get dirty as soon as you walk in and makes it so you can’t walk in bare feet.
Room was either freezing or stifling hot with a noisy a/c that rattled. No option to have the fan running on low. Not that we wanted to hear the rattling. The “buffet breakfast” was absolutely sub-par. I’m not usually a complainer, but there was no staff around. Had to ask at front desk for coffee and plates. It wasn’t even busy on a Sunday morning. Not a speck of meat provided. And it wasn’t that it ran out. It just wasn’t there. Just canned eggs flattened into patties. No
Muffins, no hard boiled eggs. No fruit except apples. No real cream, just fake. When coffee was finally replenished, it was gone in no time and never replenished before breakfast hours were over. Just terribly disheartening and disappointing to pay top dollar for a room with “breakfast buffet” just to find out that it was less provided than a no-name motel on skid row. Not ever booking a comfort inn again. No comfort at all.
I realize they are undergoing renovations and were thrown into action quicker than planned due to wildfire evacuations, but...we won't be back.
Most of our experiences with the staff in the lobby were great except when checking out, the woman barely said a word, not even inquiring how our stay was.
The room we were in was on the ground level with access directly from the parking lot. With no carpets in the rooms on the ground level, the floors get dirty very fast especially as fall is approaching and leaves were starting to accumulate on the ground. There were also no outdoor lights working, so coming back to our room later one night, it was very dark.
The room itself was a good size & had good lighting, but the bathroom didn't have many ways to hang towels/clothing. And it would have been nice to have a luggage stand for our suitcase (we improvised our own).
The door to the washroom didn't close properly and made a lot of noise as you opened & closed it. If we kept the door pulled to, the fan with an automatic light would suddenly turn on. This was definitely unexpected in the middle of the night. (On hindsight we could have unplugged the nightlight and left the door open a bit more, but it was the middle of the night and really you shouldn't have to unplug things, and the nightlight was handy.)
Housekeeping was supposed to come on the third day. We were there 4 nights and they never showed up. And the breakfast was definitely lacking.
