I had a bunch of ants in my room. The bar in the bath was not secured and came out when tried to use, unsafe for my kids. Location great. Room size decent. Staff was nice

The price was great. I guess it is what you get for a cheap motel. When we first walked into our room, it smelled like a mixture of stale air and little smokey. The smell stuck to our clothes even after we have left. They do have black out blinds for the big window but then the small window by the main door does not have a cover so it wasnt really dark. A housekeeper had woken us up and check out wasnt till 11am. One of my towels smelled like dirty feet.

The only downside was the distance from the foot of the beds to the wall unit that the TV sat on. It is about 2 feet and felt very narrow. The room could not be configured differently and still have the 2 beds.

Some rooms ddint have proper heaters and they were cool and the blankets were to thin and the pool was not working and they didnt say that when we booked.

Didn’t seem hospitable. I’m sure it would be great for the summer. Not having a staff for 24hrs was a pain. The outside needed sweeping. Had to call the owner to process my Credit Card…very sketchy. WIFI NOT WORKING and the area is a cell phone dead zone. Price was accurate for the level and quality.

The room was clean. Staff are nice. What I didnt like- room was freezing when we arrived. We put the heat on. It was noisy at night until 1130pm people where walk and showering at night and the walls are thin. At 7am it was again noisy with people coming and going and showering.

Riverside is a great choice for value in a desirable location and staff was very helpful and accommodating. Great to have full kitchen and large fridge. Overall, nice stay for value.

Good location for beach access. Old building that has some upgrades. Can hear the neighbours through the walls which was not great. Bed was comfortable and the place was clean.

Our room was off the lane. It was dingy, poorly designed with uncomfortable beds. There was nowhere to put luggage, no table, a dirty old armchair, a small tv…. The bathroom seemed newly renovated

Very disappointed in Expedia. I left one day early as the reason for my stay ended early. Expedia would not refund my stay by 1 day. This is the second time that silly little policies are in place to take advantage of the customer! I gave 24hours notice and still I was charged.

Riverside Motel is an excellent place to stay. It is close to the beach at Okanagan Lake, close to coffee shops, and the canal. I did not feel unsafe at the hotel, it was just some of the clients were using substances, and that made me feel uncomfortable. The rooms are super clean, and the water pressure in the bathroom is spectacular!!! I do have to say that our room was quite large, for being a standard room, but the TV was very small for the size of the room. I would definitely stay there again.

Dog poo on walkway outside our room, desk lady who showed us room just stepped over it and it was still there later that day. Room old, dingy, silverfish bugs in tub. Blanket on bed very worn, white towels and cloths had stains. Weather stripping around door pealing off. Obviously lots of longer term tenants? RV’s parked around with extension cords plugged in to outlets. Listened to people arguing for hours. Not sound proof in any way. They should separate where put longer term people and guests who stay for a night? Also parked boat blocking entrance to get through to park at back rooms. Got no sleep, considered driving home the 2 hours in the middle of the night. Ugg.

I went to check in and they had no record of my booking through Hotels.com. This was fine as she was able to accommodate us still. What wasn't fine is that it took her almost an hour to check us in because of it. The hotel was dead and we were in a rush but she didn't care. Then proceeded to take another 20 minutes to walk around to find a clean room for us. Our stay was okay, nothing horrible, but then they charged me twice! I'm currently disputing this with my credit card company, which will take about a month unfortunately, but I've been calling and texting the hotel owner as well as the front desk person and they refuse to refund the second charge.....just hoping that I'll get bored and suck it up. So if you decide to stay, be prepared for them to try and scam you. And don't expect Hotels.com to help as they won't do anything either.

The Riverside is an older motel steps from Okanagan Lake that has been nicely updated. It is clean and the rooms are a decent size. There are restaurants within a few blocks and Main Street is a mile away.

2 friends and I stayed in a room with "2 queen beds" as soon as I walked in i noticed the beds are half the size of a queen. I mentioned it to the front desk and they moved us to a new room, which had the same sized beds. Looking at their photos, all queen rooms have these tiny beds. The stay was good other than that, but they are falsely advertising the size of their beds. Barely big enough to share with another person.

When we arrived didn’t get what we paid for , when confronted front desk said this was the last room available. So took it ,first the one lock didn’t work , then the microwave was broken , fridge not even plugged in, no coffee in the room Yes they did change out microwave thankful for that just thought it wasn’t best customer service and no discount offered The room was updated with flooring and bed so enjoyed that

Great place for a quick stay after a concert. Walkable to shops, restaurants, beach. The units are older but have been nicely renovated with new flooring and paint. Bed was super comfortable!

The staff were very friendly and the new upgrades include vinyl plank flooring, new beds and bedding. The tub area was not inviting. At least the floors will be clean and the bed comfortable and clean. Need to move out some furniture as it's old and unecessary. I would recommend this stay for the price which was excellent.

A great place to stay with a family. It was a bit dated furniture in the living room area, but the beds were very comfortable and newer. It had everything you needed to feel comfortable.
