The cottage is made of 3 foot thick granite stone with a flagstone floor partly covered with rugs. It is tastefully decorated retaining its original rustic charm. At the heart of the main living area there is a wood burning stove, perfect for cosying up on the the sofa to read or watch the TV/DVD. The dining area makes use of the window seat. The kitchen is off to one side with all basic equipment, full size oven, touch hob, fridge freezer, and toaster. Off the other side of the living area is the bathroom, with a walk-in shower and where the washer-drier is located.
The two bedrooms are upstairs with views of the sea. One with king size bed and the other with bunkbeds, and either another pull out bed and travel cot. The windows are all double glazed, there are wall mounted electric heaters in each room. The garden has a paved area, raised seated area (with glorious views of the sea and sunset) and small lawn. The spectacular Southwest Costal Path is a short walk from the cottage, with breath taking ocean views along the cliffs and hidden sandy coves. Geevor Tin Mine Museum and cafe and the village of Pendeen, with pubs, shops and a restaurant are a short walk away.
