「The rooms had their own car park but required a deposit in cash to obtain the remote for the gate. I don’t carry cash so was forced to haul my suitcase up and down multiple stairways and along a dark and uneven path around the back of the building to get to my room late at night. 「Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful.
