Ravenswood 3x2 modern holiday home, fully equip kitchen, linen & washing / ironing facilities. TV to main bedroom and TV room. Alfresco area with BBQ. Family friendly, fully fenced, well behaved pets welcome. Located on the doorstep of the iconic Ravenswood Hotel and the Murray River, great pub grub and live music. The sparkling river is alive with Bream, Mulloway and Whiting. Crabs can also be caught in the summer months. Plenty of wildlife ducks, birds and dolphins frequent under the bridge. The perfect location for boating and kayaking with nearby boat ramps. Peel zoo is just 7 km away a great family day. The town of Pinjarra, is just 8 km away with a shopping centre, bakery (the home of the famous award winning "Pinjarra Pie"). Plenty of dining options, golf course, trotting and horse racing tracks nearby.

It is a comfortable well appointed house with lots of family friendly space. Unfortunately, sleeping in was impossible as the master bedroom is only a few metres from the busy morning traffic on the ring ring road starting around 6.30am (esp. if your not used to vehicle noise so close). The next door neighbour also decided very early to have a rather vocal conversation just on the other side of the fence, along with her noisy kids. Lots of insects (dead and alive - inside & out) thanks to the abundance of webs and their 8 legged inhabitants. The hosts were easy going and timely with communication. It's good value for what you get, but just be sure these issues don't bother you.

This house is very comfortable. All the mod-cons plus extra touches, ie bikes; very child and pet friendly. Located across the road from the Ravenswood Tavern. I slept so well in a lovely bed with lovely bedding. My Goldie felt so at home he barked at the passing dog walkers, most of whom we met, which led to more conversations about where to go walking. Best walks were along the river at South Yanderup. Also visited the famous Pinjarra bakery. Really enjoyed our brief stay.

Carol and Matt offer such a lovely and inviting space combined with warm hospitality The River Retreat is spotlessly clean and beautifully decked-out with all the essentials as well as little touches of hospitality - the Doggos loved the little care package of treats and the Humans the cookies We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend it
